"Kengrecheleyshens, guysh! Am happy poryu woooh!"

And then he's out.

Nico was dead ass drunk and has finally passed out on the back seat of car, while RJ and Maine laughed it off.

It's 2:00 in the morning when Nico had his face slumped on the table after they finished a fair share of bottles of vodka. At around 1:30, RJ already drove Maine and Marcus back home when Marcus felt dizzy way too early, making jetlag as his excuse. Originally, RJ would only be driving only Maine and Marcus home but as soon as they arrived at the Mendoza's and had Marcus settled in his room, he got a call from Kenneth telling him that Nico was already out of control and couldn't possibly drive himself home.

RJ insisted that he'll go alone to get Nico from Rosario's but when Maine flashed her eyelashes and told him that she wanted to come, he simply couldn't say no.

For the record, none of them are drunk. Both RJ and Maine are perfectly sober, probably because their lips spent more time on each other's lips than on their own beer bottles. After Maine said the magic word, they were inseperable for the rest of the night, ignoring every single person inside the bar that were calling them out whenever they make out.

Both of them became extra clingy, extra smitten, and extra happy with each other the entire night. Until of course, their friends became drunken asses.

In less than 15 minutes, they arrived at the Mendoza's and Nico is already in his deep slumber. RJ had to carry his best friend over his shoulder and bring him up to his room.

"'Manda ka sakin bukas, Nicholas! Susmaryosep, ang bigat mo!"

Maine got his attention when she started doing a hearty laugh, and he couldn't help but smile.

"And you, my lady. Lasing ka na rin no?"

"I am not, mister! Not a bit. Natatawa lang kasi ako, naging service ka ng mga lasing ngayong gabi. Poor baby." She said as her hand reaches for his face to wipe the dripping sweats off.

"Oo nga eh, naisahan ako ng mga bangenge na 'to. But if was you, nako! Wala nang balikan yan." He said then grabbed her by waist and went in for a searing kiss.

"RJ!?! Pag nagising yan si Nico, jusko ka!"

"Hahahaha! Sorry, love. Osya, tara. Walk me out. Uuwi na ko."

He took her hand as they quietly went down the stairs to the door. When they were almost close to his car, RJ gripped her hand tight which successfully got her attention.

"Oh bakit?"

"Uhm.. Uhh.. Pwede ba'ng makahingi ng kape?"

This, of course, automatically made her smile.

"Thought you'd never ask. Halika ulit sa loob. Or I'll make the coffee then wait for me sa rooftop. How's that?"

"Rooftop it is."

The moment RJ stepped foot on the rooftop, he automatically felt nostalgic. That very place holds so many memories of him and Maine. It has witnessed more than just two old friends getting to know each other as they slowly fall in love in the process.

It was basically the first part of the house where Maine took her seven years ago. It was where they told each other their dreams and future plans. It was where they had their first and last fight. It was where he last saw her before she went to London.

But that was just on his side.

For Maine, it was where she cried her eyes out while she waits for him to call her back after founding out about London. It was where she mourn alone for the lost of their baby. That rooftop has witnessed so many fights, heard so many laughs, and felt so many drops of tears that fell from their eyes.
