"Good morning, love. Ang aga mo ah."

"Good morning to you too, Marcus. May lakad kasi kami ni RJ, maiwan muna kita ha?"

"Not a problem, sweetie. Pero I think we need to talk for a minute. Wala pa naman si pogi. Come here, you."

As early as 7 o'clock in the morning, Maine is all set and ready. She was waiting for RJ in the veranda when Marcus came out, still in his PJ's with a cup of coffee in his hands. Marcus took her hand and invited her to sit next to him on the bench just beside the front door.

Maine had a feeling what Marcus would like to talk about. They are set to flight back to London in two days, but they still haven't discuss what their setup will be after she got back with the love of her life. Will she be flying back to London or will she stay?

She has been trying to avoid the question for the last few times Marcus asked about it. She always tell him that she still have few more days to figure it out, but unfortunately, not anymore. As much as she want to forget all about it, she can't. And as much as she would love to keep avoiding the fact that they have to talk about it, she also couldn't.

"Dei, how is it gonna be? We are leaving in two days. What are your plans? Have you told RJ about the contract?"

"I might have mentioned it, yeah."

"Might? Dei!"

"Ah. Sorry. I have mentioned it. Once. After that, hindi pa namin napapag-usapan ulit. He told me to trust him and we'll figure it out daw."

"Okay? That's good to hear. But let me just lay the cards on the table for you. Dei, you still have about 10 months in the contract and as much as I want to help you out of it, you know I couldn't. I'm simply your Manager, not entirely your boss. And even though it's not so bad if you would you like to stay here with RJ for good, allow me to remind you the kind of life you have back in London. I'm not trying to talk you out of your relationship with RJ because you know I'm happy to finally see you smile the way he makes you smile. But I just want to remind you of the things that you might also want to consider before you come up with any desicion. Alright?"

Maine sighed and gave Marcus a faint smile. She felt like she wanted to walk out or scream at his face to let him know that she's very much aware of everything he said. Sleepless nights was what she kept on having for the last three days just because she's been thinking of the exact same thing. Marcus didn't have to rub it in, especially when she got out of bed with a good mood and happy thoughts after receiving a call from his man, inviting her for a drive.

But she knew Marcus didn't mean any harm. He was just being a good friend and she couldn't take any of it against him. So, instead of yelling at him, she took Marcus' hand, acknowledged his concerns before she reached in for a hug.

"I know, Marcus. I know. Thank you."

They were in that position when RJ got out of his car and walked towards them.

"Hi. Good morning, you two."

Maine let go of the hug while Marcus kept one hand on Maine's as they greeted him back simultaneously.

"Hi, Marcus." RJ said with his eyes on their hands, his eyebrows wiggling and lips forming into a faint smile.

Marcus automatically knew what he meant, so he brought Maine's hand back to her lap. For the last 3 days he's been staying in Marilog and practically around the lovers all the time, Marcus can already tell when RJ is being friendly or jealous.

"Hoy, RJ. Don't you 'Hi Marcus' me. My bestfriend and I were just having a moment before you arrived. Yung mga tingin mo, parang sasapakin mo na naman ako."
