Rainbow Leaves

Chapter 3

September 4th, 2016

       I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock like everyday, I make my bed the way I always do everyday, I do my chores like I do everyday, but I know today is not going to be a typical day for me, It's my birthday. I go downstairs to the smell of eggs and bacon, the kitchen is surrounded in balloons but nobody is here. I walk over to my special breakfast and take a bite of egg and bacon together, it tastes different today. My dad probably made them, his is always better than mom's. The kitchen was too quiet this morning, until I hear someone sneeze.

Daniel: ACHOOOOOO!!! 

Mom: Daniel, not now! -_-

Dad: shh, she will hear us!

Autumn: I already heard you guys XD

Dad: we were going to surprise you, until Daniel sneezed -_- XD

Autumn: Well, you failed at that, but dad's breakfast made up for it XD

Dad: Yeah, I know how my breakfasts are ALWAYS better than mom's :P

Mom: *Evil stares at dad*

Daniel: Anyway, after you finish eating, its time for presents

        Autumn stuffs the amazing breakfast down her throat but slow enough to savour each and every ingredient in Dad's food. With the rest of her family, she runs to the living room for her presents. Daniel gives her a home-made card with lots of glitter, he hand drew rainbow leaves to it, on the inside, it says "The rainbow leaves will always follow you on your journey" I know Daniel didn't write that, it was in need cursive writing. Most likely from Mom. Dad and Mom told me to go outside to see my major gift. A Jeep sits in the driveway as if calling out "Drive me"

Autumn: OMG, Thank you so much! I love you guys so much, words can never express how I am blessed with you.

Dad: No problem honey, Mom, Daniel, and I feel the same way.

Daniel: I love you sissy!

Autumn: I love you to Daniel
