Rainbow Leaves

Chapter 1

                                                                   After Accident

        Autumn sits on the rotted wood swing attached to the old tree passed down from her ancestors long ago. It has been sitting in her backyard for generations being treated with care from her family. To them, the tree was what kept their family together. Autumn was the oldest sibling in her family, she also had a younger brother named Daniel, age 7. Autumn was named after their favourite season, Autumn. Her parents lived in the house near the old tree, this tree had a special power, it's leaves changed to the colours of the rainbow. Rumours say that the tree's leaves changed how people think in Fall. That people would be peaceful and create harmony, as well as making each one of us find our journey and find love. Autumn had an amazing family that truly cared about her and she never lived a single day without happiness...Until September 4th, 2016.

 September 2nd, 2016 

                                                               Before Accident

       I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. Most people hate having to wake up in the morning, but I love it, it's the most beautiful part of my day. I jump out of bed and make it the way I always do every morning. After I do my daily chores, I get a text, its probably Ally. 

Ally: Hey Girl! Good Morning! :D

Autumn: Hey! You seem happy this morning :P

Ally: Of course I am! Tomorrow is your special day after all, I can't wait! Your going to be 18

Autumn: OMG I am so excited too

Ally: Are you getting a car this year?

Autumn: I'm almost positive I am, I will be going to collage in about a month after all, I need transportation. 

Ally: I can't wait to see, when I come over you need to let me join you on a test drive :P

Autumn: I promise XD

       I turn off my phone and head downstairs for breakfast. Mom had eggs and bacon set out for me, my favourite. I was just about to tell her thank you but she is on the phone so I just listen to the conversation while devouring breakfast.

Mom: Ya, Ya... Ok, good, we need it here by tomorrow... Ok thank you... oh XD you are too kind, than you, bye

 Autumn: Morning mom, thank you for breakfast, it was great.

Mom: Your welcome, and guess what... Your car will be here tomorrow
