It's a hot tropical day right at the corners on Leanbox.

The sun's rays beat down on the valley of it as well. The temperature is enough for it to be called a hot summer day, but close enough to dehydrate someone a little bit.

One of the border guards let out a grunting sigh as he wiped his sweaty forehead.

He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose to calm him down.

"Why does it have to be so hot?" He moaned as he sits in his chair.

She rolled her eyes and tossed him a soda.

He swiftly popped it open and takes a swig of the carbonated drink. A wise thing is to at least savor the refreshingly, cold liquid from the dry arid heat.

Yet. Something doesn't seem right...

Mostly because he can hear the faint sound of someone screaming downwards, and the surprise that the said person fell through the roof and landed on the floor, making a human shaped hole.

Both of the guards were bemused from what they saw, and the girl drew out her sabre just in case if it's a hostile.

A hand came out of the hole, followed by a pair of arms, and the disoriented face of a young lad.

He appears no older than in his early 20s, he has locks of red hair draping to his shoulders, and a few spots of freckles on his cheek here and there.

"Can we all agree I have the worst luck of all time...?" He drawled out until he felt unconscious.

----

Thompson felt like he has been in his cell for hours on end, but then again, falling into a watchtower where two soldiers might be thinking about getting it on with each other isn't exactly call a good welcome.

He sighed to himself as he looks around in his boring dungeon where he sat upon, and all of it is still the same as the time he was thrown in two hours ago.

Then he heard it... footsteps.

Intrigued, he scoots over to the grates and took a sneak peak, and in his sight, he found her.

A voluptuous woman with long, blonde hair, wearing an green elegant dress.

It's clear to him that she doesn't work here in the dungeons, and snooping a bit more, he found her releasing at least 3 of the prisoners.

Maybe he can ask her to let him out, the fear welling up in his gut can wait. He isn't gonna let his gynophobia get the best of him in this endeavor.

 ----------------

Victor felt weak... his body sore and his own gut, retching from the mess that he ate from that dinner.

But even his time of wallowing, he's still breathing, and functional, turning to his friends and seeing their worried eyes, 'cept for the goddess Vert.

He looks to the ceiling, sullen as he is wracked by the pain and some guilt.

"Come on, pal." Neptune said to him. "We're not gonna let you down!"

"There has to be something here...." IF muttered to herself as she looks down.

"It's all my fault." She continued. "I was so caught up with Lady Vert.... I forgot about the poison."

Vic can only let out a big sigh and forces his head to look at her, it may hurt his neck, but he needed to say something.

"Don't blame yourself. Even if I have to blunt, it's not like you meant any of these." He said to her.

"But it's because of me your--"

"It's fine." He interrupted. "You didn't intend for this to happen, even if you were a part of it, it doesn't mean your to blame."

He quickly starts breathing, the pain sending pangs all throughout his body. Every single second, it brings him pain and stings he didn't know would hurt.

"It's a bit of a shame....." Neptune uttered. "You can heal, right? How come it isn't working?"

"It's a bit more complicated. Even if I can heal my wounds in mere seconds, even I have limits." He quickly explained.

"L-limits?" Compa asked him.

Dragging out another sigh as he keeps his own pace, he turns to them.

"My 'Regeneration' has it's limits." He said matter-of-factly "Like I said, I can heal wounds in seconds, but it's another story when it comes to amputations and other injuries... Those things can take up to hours and even days just for me to heal."

"That so?"

He can only give a wry nod as he finds himself drifting away... his eyes getting heavier as he finds himself drifting away to sleep.
