" Dewpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Dewdrop! Starclan honors your swiftness and loyalty and we welcome you as a full warrior of Lightclan." Darkstar leaped from the Skystone and laded his muzzle on top of her head. It had been two moons since I had been a warrior, and life was going perfect. I hadn't seen Scourge ever since that horrible vision that he would kill me in my dreams. I still hadn't told Darkstar about the tiny black tom but what can I tell him? That I could die any day because I made a wish I was too stupid to understand what I was wishing? No, I couldn't tell him that, so I decided I wouldn't tell him anything.

Rosepaw, now having her medicine cat name Rosepool. The she-cat was looking at our sister proudly and blinked when she met my gaze. Frostheart's kits Frozenkit, Lilykit, and Lakekit were watching outside of the nursery with their tails held high and eyes wide and gleaming. They were three moons old, still not old enough to become apprentice's but they were still very strong and it seemed Lakekit was the master mind of the litter. Always getting into trouble and causing Darkstar to have another problem to weight on his shoulders, but I couldn't help but admire the young she-cat's courage.

Darkstar ended the meeting and leaped off of the Skystone. Frostheart nudged her kits back into the nursery and Rubyshine, now expecting Stonefeather's kits padded after Frostheart into the nursery.

Dewdrop was sitting in the clearing, speaking to her former mentor Oakfrost quietly.

I padded up to the two cats and could just pick up some of their conversation.

" I'm sorry, Dewdrop." Oakfrost sighed. " Your not the one." Oakfrost dipped his head to her and padded away towards where Flowernose was setting up the patrols. Dewdrop was staring at the ground, her eyes glazed with sorrow and her shoulder were hunched. She looked nothing like she did during the ceremony.

" Dewdrop, what's wrong?" I begged my sister. The black she'cat looked up at me and blinked.

" I loved him." She breathed. " I loved Oakfrost, I thought he loved me back, but."

" But he has kits, Dewdrop!" I interrupted her. " He has a mate that loves him and he loves her, why did you ever think you could ever have a chance with him?"

" Because!" Dewdrop hissed. She frowned and looked at her paws. " They way he spook to me, how he always wanted to make sure I was safe, and how he always told me what a great warrior I would be. I loved him, Winterstorm. I really did." Dewdrop whimpered and shook her head in grief.

" Why?" She begged me. " Why did Darkstar give him me as a mentor, if he hadn't given him as my mentor this wouldn't be happening!" Dewdrop hissed. Her claws were sheathing and unsheathing and her blue eyes were blazing like fire.

" Dewdrop, Darkstar never planed on you falling in love with Oakfrost. You can't blame him, besides your talking to the wrong cat if you want to hate on Darkstar." I added. Dewdrop snorted but she kept clawing at the hard ground.

" Don't get yourself worked up, Dewdrop. You'll find a mate that loves you and you love them. You'll know when you truly know." I nudged my sister and licked her ear.

" I'm going to go see Rosepool, want to come with? She would really like to congratulate you I would guess." Dewdrop shook her head and padded off to the fresh-kill pile where Ratfang was eating with his litter mate, Leopardnose. I sighed and turned towards the medicine cat's den. Autumnbreeze was at the entrance laying down stretching her legs.

" Is Rosepool inside?" I asked the she-cat. She nodded and rolled over on her back and I swished through the lichen. Rosepool was inside with Amberheart who had streaming eyes.

" Is she okay?" I demanded. " She still has an apprentice to take care of." I pointed out. Rosepool dipped her head and laded some herbs at Amberheart's paws.
