I woke up the next morning with an obnoxious rapping on my door.  I checked my alarm clock and glared at it.  Who the hell is banging on my door at fucking 6:00 a.m.?

I yank my covers back and hop off my bed, marching over to the door.  I open it and am face to face with Carlos.

"What the hell do you want?"  I hiss, shooting him a glare.  Carlos doesn't seem the slightest miffed by my attitude as he just raises an eyebrow up.

"Breakfast is ready."  He answers.

I give him a look as I cross my arms, he's got to be joking right?  "Breakfast?"  I echo.  I sure hope he didn't wake me up just for that reason.

"Yeah, the whole gang's down there.  We're all waiting on you."  Carlos replies.

"Carlos honey, remember when I said don't ever wake me up unless it's an emergency?"  I point out, with a sickenly sweet but deadly tone.

I watch his face contort into a look of amusement.  Does he find this funny?  Because if he does, then I have no problem slapping that grin off his face.

"It is an emergency Kas.  Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  We don't want you to miss it."  He says, failing to control his smirk.

I inhale three huge gulps of air, hold them for three seconds, and then slowly exhale.  If this ass is actually being serious, then unfortunate things are going to happen to his oh so pretty face.

"Carlos."  I huff, getting irritated by the second.  This guy doesn't understand the importance of me getting my rest.  If I'm not fully rested, then I won't be a happy camper.

"Kas."  He mocks.  Tired of him, I roll my eyes as I begin to shut the door in his face.
But with his unnatural cat-like reflexes, he stopped the door with his hand from slamming.  He wiped his silly ass smirk off his face and he looked serious.

"Okay Kas, you caught me.  I was just joking.  I woke you up because we have some important business to deal with in about an hour.  And I want you ready in thirty minutes."  He explains.

I sigh, if only he could've just said that earlier instead of bullshitting around.  I don't play no games when it's six a.m. in the morning.

"Okay fine."  I say, getting ready to close my door on him so I can get ready.

"Just kiddin!"  He laughs with a grin.  But I know this time he isn't joking.  He's just trying to piss me off.

"You're an ass."  I mutter, and close my door on him, making sure I lock it as well.

"Te amo Kas!"  I heard him call out through the door.  I roll my eyes as I head to my bathroom.

I wash up, getting rid of any evidence of sleep. I pull on a pair of black skinny jeans with a black V-neck. I grabbed a pair of black stilettos and pulled a black leather jacket on.

I applied a coat of red lipstick and teased my hair as I pulled it back into a high ponytail. I make sure I have all my hidden weapons within the inside of my jacket and make sure I'm wearing the right heels. My dagger ones.

I leave my room and walk down the massive steps to the kitchen where everyone is huddled. When I entered, Carlos was already giving the game plan when he looked up at me.

"Glad to see you finally show up." He irritably snaps with a roll of his eyes.

"Hey remember you're the one who woke me up this early so watch it." I snap back with the same energy level.
