Thursday 18th August
Chan and I, ran around my grandparents house. We were playing tag, and I was the tagger.
The thing is about Chan - he is the tallest and skinniest person I know, but he is also, not really the fastest person I know. People who know me, knows that I am pretty fast, like really, really fast.
So it wasn't that hard to catch him.
Well, except the moment, where he found an old pair of roller skaters, in the utility room. Actually... Where was he?
I couldn't find him at the moment, but I could hear him, in the back of the house, just before he came skating at me, with so much speed that I couldn't catch him.
- Hey! That's cheating!
I shouted at him, laughing.
- I know! That's why I put them on! Haha! "Catch me if you can!"
In the moment he sang that, the Girls Generation song began to play, like all around in the house.
And the floors began to be like asphalt. I mean, not actually asphalt, where you scratch you hands. But like, the perfect floor to skate on.
Wauw. Thank you house, for helping the guy with the freaking roller skaters, and not the girl who runs around, almost dying after chasing him.
All of this; the roller skaters, the floor, even THE MUSIC, was to his advantage.
I appreciate your thoughtfulness house.
Even though I couldn't tag him, I do love it when Chan is playful, it makes the situation a lot funnier.
- Slow down Chan! You're too fast, and I don't get any chance to catch you!
The music was so loud, it was hard not to shout.
- Do you ever think, I will give you the opportunity to be faster than me again? No, I don't think so, now I'M the fastest! MUHAHAHAHA!
He laughed his fake, evil laugh. I have always hated it, when I didn't have a chance to catch someone in tag.
But even though it annoyed me like a pain in the butt, it was quite amusing, to see Chan almost fall to the ground. That were the only moments, I had the opportunity to catch him. Though without luck.
He ran into the dining room, skating around our dining table. Made me ran around in circles.
I got dizzy. I couldn't see what was really going on around me.
- Chan stooooop! You make me dizzyyy!
BOM!
- AAUCH! My head! Geeeeeeees it hurts!
I looked over to the opposite direction of the room. Chan hit his head against a wall. I tried, to walk over to him, without stumbling. I narrowly succeeded. I was still dizzy after a couple of minutes. I had to hold on to the dining table.
- Are you, ar- ar--
Still too dizzy to speak.
- --Are, are you okay?
I asked Chan.
Weird?
He had two left hands that were holding his forehead, while the right hand was making him stand up against the wall. It looked like he was glued to the wall. He also had two heads.... and four legs. Or was it five?
I looked around the room. All the pictures of my family was rotating. The walls, was getting purp- no blue- no wait! Green! The ceiling was falling down, just to crash me...
AUCH! Maybe I was still too dizzy to think about anything. As fast, as I could, I got on my knees, and crawled under the dining table.
I closed my eyes, just to be clear in my head. Well, I know it hurts more to close your eyes, when you feel dizzy, but I didn't care.
Chan was hurt.
A lot it seems.
O.k.
I was ready to open my eyes.
Everything was back to normal.
No ceiling falling down.
No rotating family pictures.
No weird changing, coloured walls.
Everything was back to normal.
Well.
Except for Chan.
I ran the few meters over to him.
He was still standing up while he held his forehead, and the right hand pushed the wall, held him up. He was facing the other way.
- Chan?
He didn't answer.
- Chan, are you alright?
- Yeah...
- Turn towards me.
Slowly, he turned to my side. His eyes were closed, because of the pain. I tried to look up at his wound.
Damn it. Too tall. I couldn't really see it.
- Hmm... I need you to sit down onnnn--
I looked around the room. To my fortune, a couple of chairs was standing at the dining table.
- --this chair, right over here.
I put my hand on his shoulder.
But the second I touched him, it felt like magic. Magic, just bursting out of my stomach like hundreds of butterflies who was ready to fly the first time of their life, after living in inside their pupas.
It gave me this kind of shock.
He was filled with this warmth, like on the deck where he touched my hand. Like some kind of energy source to charge me up.
Was I freezing before?
Because...
I just melted.
An that was a warmth I could get used to.
