Thursday 18th August
There were trains everywhere, and lots of people. Chan and I waited for his train to come. He turned to me, showing a little sad expression. Then he took my left hand, and squeezed it gently, while he touched the phoenix ring he gave me earlier. The way he gently touched my hand, made me light up. It made me want to, want to... I just... No. I couldn't do it. It would be so... so weird. Wouldn't it? I had to stop myself... But I really wanted to... to...
I mean... A little kiss on the cheek wouldn't hurt anyone... I leaned closer to him. I tiptoed to reach his face. For a second I thought about the situation. But my heart wanted me to follow it. And so I did.
Was it wrong to kiss him? How did he feel about it? Oh my god, what have I done? I felt so embarrassed I couldn't face him...
But. Then he... He... He just hugged me afterwards.
What?
After a couple of seconds, I hugged him too.
- I'm going miss you too Lama. See you sometime later?
- Hehe. Yeah sure. Why not?
I blushed a little. He winked at me.
A wind began to blow.
SHUSH!
He was gone.
I was sitting outside my grandparent terrace. Sipping on cold lemonade, while reading an interesting novel. The sun was shining, and it was baking hot. So silent. Though the birds were singing. The garden was so beautiful, there were so many different trees and flowers all around.
Suddenly, a big virtual screen appeared, hanging over the lawn. I walked over to it.
It was on Instagram, inside one of Chan's fan sites. @Chanvideos came out with a new picture. A picture of Chan, with the comment:"Lucky gal. Wish I knew who she was", where he sat down on a bench, by the side of a girl, with medium length hair. They were surrounded by a lot of people, on a deck, underwater. I could imagine, that it must have been hard to take the picture, with all those people. You couldn't see her face, but I could recognize her outfit anytime. Chan was in a middle of something. I looked closer. He put on a ring on one of the girl's fingers.
I looked down on my hand, while I touched the ring. A moment I would never forget.
I scrolled down to see the other comments on the picture. Geez! There were lots of comments:
"Wish I was in her shoes!"
"Who' that?"
"Where are they??"
I scrolled down. But the more I scrolled, the more harsh, the comments became. Like:
"How can she do this to me?"
"What an arrogant bitch?"
"How could Chan be with that hoe?..."
I took a few steps away from the screen when it began to scroll down by itself, faster and faster. It was out of control... Then the comments popped out of the screen, and they made wings. Afterward, they flew in my direction, like mosquitos, ready to bite my skin for blood. I tried to ran away from them. I ran into the terrace door. FUCK! It was locked! I don't remember I locked the garden door?... I had to find another option. I ran to the other side of the house, where the garage door was. I tried to open it, but too late. The mosquitos were over me. I covered my heard, with my arms. They stang so hard, and so many times, with the harsh comments, that I thought I was dead by the poison from the stangs.
Then I felt like falling. Falling longer, and longer down into darkness...
