Chapter 5: Here to stay

Your P.o.v.

I watched as the jokers thoughts raced through his mind, I couldn't tell what he was thinking but he didn't look okay. "J are you-" I was about to speak but I silenced myself as he stood up and kneeled in front of me. His hand outstretched to my face and he gently pushed back my hair behind my ear. "I cant believe it..." he mumbled standing up again. "Joker is everything okay?" I tried to question him but he just wouldn't answer me. He pulled me up from the chair I was sitting in and embraced me in a hug, Although I didn't know what was happening I hugged back.

"____ im really sorry. Your not going home alone tonight" I could hear the small smirk forming at the corners of his mouth as he spoke. I slowly pulled away and raised an eyebrow at him "wait. hold up a minute there Bucko". His smile was once again plastered to his face and as if on cue he let out one of his famous laughs. "Bucko?" I couldn't help but smile and role my eyes. "Yes Bucko, Who said you could come home with me? I most definitely did not invite you to stay the night" I tried defending myself as he smiled at me. "I don't need an invitation sweetheart, I never implied I was staying the night either-" the smile on his lips got bigger and I felt my face change from a bleached white to slightly rose pink. "Thinking ahead are you? It does sound like a good idea so I think I might". His laughter echoed throughout the room, As I was face palming Ivy walked back into the room with a grin plastered to her face. "you two look like your getting along well".

I sat back down in my seat and shook my head unable to get rid of my smile or my blush. "____ here has just invited me to stay the night at her place" I quickly stood up and turned to face him. "I said the complete opposite! Ive got to go now. It was nice meeting you" I quickly grabbed my bag and run out the door without saying goodbye to Ivy.

Jokers P.o.v.

I chuckled as she grabbed her things "I do love a good chase" I said laughing to Ivy. She found herself laughing with me and before ____ could get away much further I ran out to my car and pulled out of the drive way. I sped down the street in search of _____ her silver hair would be easy to spot now that I know how she looks. After driving down the street for a minute and a half I found her, She was running full speed down the side walk and jumping over anything that got in her way. Definitely my kind of girl. I pulled up next to her and followed her at the speed she was going. "So darlin where are you going?" she turned her head and laughed "Oh my god! what are you doing" she finally stopped running as she leaned in the car window with the cutest grin on her face. goosebumps rose on my skin as I saw how close she was to me and I thought I could feel my face warm slightly. "clearly im sleeping at your house tonight, I thought we already went over this? your not very good at remembering are you?" I chuckled.

____ rolled her eyes and continued walking "Alright then lets go" she said pointing to the next street. "_____ would you maybe consider getting into the car so It doesn't look like im a pedophile". She turned to face the car bursting into fits of laughter "What!?" I chuckled and repeated myself "Would you please get in the car so I don't look like a pedo". She continued to laugh but nodded as she did so. _____ walked around the other side of the car opening the door and slide in next to me. She finally calmed down again and smiled at me " First house to the left" she directed.

we entered the house and I walked straight to her bedroom ready for inspection. You can tell a lot about a person on what their bedroom is like. Her walls were plain white, she had multiple plants spread through out the home including in her bedroom. All the furniture except one wooden draw was white and a mirror was sat in the corner.

I walked out of her bedroom and into another room, It looked as if it were a spare room. Perfect for me actually. Now id have a place to crash without making ______ feel uncomfortable. However id rather be closer to her then this. I walked further into the room and opened the large glass doors in order to let the air flow through the house. A large bookcase filled the empty space and each shelf was a different category; Art, Music, Cooking, Plants, Romance, Horror etc.

The room next door was her study by the looks of things and contained everything she needed for her to continue her schoolwork.

After exploring her house I walked back into the main dining and kitchen area where ____ was waiting for me. She smiled and put on some music (the song at the top) and held out a hand waiting for me to take it. After reluctantly taking her hand I sighed and she began to dance with me and I found myself following her lead soon afterwards. We spent almost an hour just messing around when she suddenly stopped and gasped.

"Oh my god, come with me! You have to see this!" ___quickly grabbed me by the wrist but before she was able to ran off I pulled her back by the waist and rested my head on her shoulder. I didn't want to move. I wanted to stay where I was and just enjoy the moment even longer. "Joker?" she turned around slowly and looked up at me "yeah?" she looked down and took my hand once more. "come with me" she began walking and brought me to her room. At first I waited in the hallway for her but then she opened up a curtin revealing a staircase. She called me over and of course out of curiosity I followed her and she lead me up the stairs.

When we reached the top there was a small balcony covered in small pillows and blankets, Fairy Lights were wrapped around the railing and the sky was setting. She dragged me onto the balcony and gently pushed me down onto the ground. I sat there waiting patiently "_____?" she pushed me back so I was laying down and she then planted herself down next to me covering me in a blanket "you have to stay here with me and watch the sky change". I chuckled, she had somehow managed to turn me the unwanted house intruder into a date.

But hey im not complaining.

SO HOWS THE STORY SO FAR? I tried to make it kinda cute at the end but im dead tired so if its not the best quality im sorry. I just came back from a three day Retreat with my school and im all bruised and sleepy. Hopefully I can continue to write some more chapters in the next few days.

However in the next two weeks at school I will have a lot of exams that go for about 3 hours each so I will be studying for those. I may not update as often but ill try and find time in between so that I can at least write something.
