Today is my 17th birthday , also the day that pierce the veil comes to my home town ,Ventura  California .

It is a Saturday so I don't have to school today. So I jump up out of my bed and put on some gallexy tights and a of mice and men crew neck And walk down stairs , I'm greeted by my mom making breakfast . " happy birthday baby !" She walks over to me and kisses me on the forehead . " thanks mom" I smiled walking to the island " so I have a meeting today at 2:30 " she says quietly . I sigh and sit down . " hey , no need to be sad , I'll give you your present after breakfast . " as she say as my big brother walks down stairs . " happy birthday you little fart . " he says as he picks m up and puts me over his shoulder . I giggle and smile as he puts me down .

" hey , Sophia Is coming over in a little bit okay ?" He say to me as he sticks a piece of toast in his mouth .sophia is his girlfriend. They've haven't been together long but she's super cool . She's one of my closest friends

" alright . " he sits down as my mom gives us both our plates and and sets a pitcher of juice on the table . I hear the doorbell and I push my brother out of his chair towards the door cause I'm to lazy to get it . He runs over to get it and opens the door and she walks in.

" happy birthday cambria ." She says as she Hugs me . "Thank you . " my mother walked in with a bag in her hand "Now that Sophia is here you can open your present ." I grab the bag and pull out a Mephis may fire sweatshirt and a card . I smile at my mother and set the card aside . " now get your present from Jacob ." She smiles " why don't I read the card . " I say as I grab the card . "No ." She smacks my hand so the card falls out . I laugh and put my hands up in surrender . " here you go, fart ." Jacob says and he hands me the bag . I pull out a collied with the sky album and some sweatpants . " classy ." I say as I pull out another card . He takes the card out of my hand and sets it with the other card . " you can't open mine until you open Sophia's present . " he smirks and sticks his tongue out at me . I hadn't noticed until now that Sophia had walked in with a bag too . I grab the bag and pull out space jam and ted, My two favorite movies And , surprise, another card . I smile at Sophia and give her a hug . " now you can open Jacobs card 1st " my moms says with this huge grin plastered on her face .I pull it out and open the card . It has a picture of a taco cat on the front of it . I open it and it's sings a weird song about tacos on it and it says ' happy birthday sister your the best .-Jacob ' then I notice two slips of paper on the other side of the card . I lift one up and it says ' admit 1 to pierce the veil .november 15 . 3:00.'

I drop the card and scream " oh my god Jacob you got me the tickets !" I start to cry and I jump on my brother . "Okay that's enough." He says as he sets me down .

" you haven't opened their cards." He smirks at me and I fumble over to the other cards  and open my mothers. it's the same card as what my brother got me so I just open it without bothering to read the card and look at the to I.Ds' attached to the lanyards in the card. " you got me back stage passes to the show tonight ?!?!" I start to cry again but stop shortly after and open Sophia's card . It was the same card AGIAN I open it and it's two more lanyards for the meet and greet tomarrow . " oh my goodness you guys at the best in the world ." Now the water works kick in . I'm balling and giving them all hugs and crying more than I ever have in my whole life, this was so wonderful, I could never ask for more .

" now go get dressed don't wanna be late ."Sophia said as I rushed upstairs .

Know I know you're thinking . This girl already had two stories . But I like writing them so I'm gonna write this one . I'm not gonna write any more stories for a while not till I'm done with all in time . Love y'all
