Chapter 1: My Mother

Living in an orphanage is not great but it's better than living in the streets. I've lived here in SunnySide Orphanage ever since I was about 3 months old. Mrs. Rose, the owner of the orphanage, told me my mother left me a letter and said to give it to me when I was ready.

My name is Kalani and I'm 15 and a half years old.

"Kalani!" Mrs. Rose yelled for me. I closed the book I was reading and headed down stairs.
K-Kalani M-Mrs.Rose

(K) "Yes, Mrs. Rose"

(M) "Kalani I think it is time I give you the letter your mother left you."

(K) "It's about time"

(M) "Yes, yes, I know, here it is you can go read it in the office if you would like."

(K) "I think I will just go to my bed."

The letter is in a soft pink envelope. It says Kalani❤. I open it and start reading.

Dear My Beautiful Kalani,
I am sorry I had to leave you there, I just wasn't ready to have a baby. I promise when I am I will go looking for you. I hope you are safe and sound. I love you my babygirl.

Once I finished the reading the letter I felt a tear drop and more after. I always thought Mrs. Rose lied to me when she said my mother said she would come back for me. Now that I read the letter I actually know she will. I now feel like someone cares about me.

My bestfriends, who are also orphans, Marie and Liz, came in and saw me crying. They both asked me what was wrong. I told them all about the letter, and they were happy for me and hugged me.

3 Months Later

(M) "Kalani get down here, someone is here to see you."

I had just got of the shower and so I brushed my hair and did 2 dutch braids. I walk down the stairs and go into Mrs. Rose's office. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was Kim Kardashian West.

(K) "OMG you're Kim Kardashian!"

(KKW) "Yes and I am also your birth mother."

Omg Kim Kardashian West, my mom. This can't be real. I thought in my head

(K) "No way, you're lying aren't you."

(M) " Kalani, Don't Be Rude."

(K) "Sorry, I'm just shocked, not trying to be mean."

(KKW) "I'm sure you weren't Kalani, I understand you're suprised."

(K) "I just can't believe it, you're my mom."

(M) "Okay Kalani, Mrs. Kardashian West is going to take you out today to spend some time before the adoption. Is that okay or do you have plans?"

(K) "I don't have any plans, but I guess I do now."

(KKW) "Okay great, you can go ahead and get your shoes on and I will wait for you down here."

I go to my room and look in the mirror to see I am wearing a sweatshirt and joggers. I change into some white skinny jeans folded above my ankles and a black loose v neck. I put on my black vans that my last family bought me as a sorry for taking you back gift. I walk downstairs and walk out with Kim into her Lamborghini. We drive for about ten minutes when Kim gets a call.

(KKW) "Hello"

(Khloé) "Kim hurry to the hospital mom got in a crash!"

(KKW) "I'm on my way!"
