Chapter 5: Gymnastics And Boys

2 Days Later

Maya still had me, luckily I had my phone so I would text my Mom and Dad clues I seen of where I could be.

K: Greensbay Avenue
Mom: I think we found you on our way!

(M) "Don't let them in!"

(K) "Mom!"

Kim's POV

Kanye and Scott push the door open. They push this girl and guy down then Kourtney, Khloé, and I start searching through the rooms.

Kalani's POV

(K) "MOM I'M OVER HERE!"

(KKW) "We're coming!"

Mom, Aunt Koko, and Aunt Kourt finally find me and we hug eachother till we hear a gun shot.

Kim's POV

We find Kalani and we all hug then all of the sudden we hear a gun shot. First thing that comes to my mind is Kanye and Scott. We all walk towards  the door with Khloé in front then Kourt, Me, and Kalani. We get there and Scott and Kanye are fine turns out on of the neighbors called the cops and they were the ones that fired the gun. Once we all answer the cops questions, they took Maya and some man that kind of looked like Kris.

1 Week Later

Today was my first gymnastics competition. It was a small one but it still meant a lot. I got ready at home and put on my custom black leo with gold detailing, I put on spandex and a hoodie over that. Then I slipped on  custom gold Nike socks and my black Nike slides. Mom, Dad, Nori, and I headed to the gym. We got there and I got to practice. I seen my whole family walk in and all the moms went crazy. I kept on practicing then it was finally time to start. I get called to do my beam routine and I get 9.5/10. For my floor routine and uneven bars I get 9.4 and 9.6. As a team we place first and I place second individually. The meet is over and Mom takes me out to eat. We get there and the whole family is there. Everybody congratulated me on  second place which was surprising, I thought they would want me to be perfect. My family is really loving. On our way home I go on twitter and look through my feed. I see Grayson Dolan twitted a picture. Uhhh he's so cute. I decided to comment on his picture.

@kalanikardashian: Daddy? 

(Lmao😂)

I sit there and keep looking then all of the sudden he replied.

@graysondolan: Hmu and we will see 😘

Omg I couldn't believe this was happening. I always had a huge crush on him but never thought he would notice me. I decide not to reply. About 3  minutes later a private message pops up.

Grayson: Hey beautiful I see yoy active but not replying. Why so mean?

Me: Lol. Thank You And I Didn't Know What To Say.

Grayson: You nervous? Text me 212 345 6789.

I wait like 15 minutes to text him. I text him but he doesn't respond. I loose hope after about 30 minutes. We get home and I get in the shower. When I get out I go downstairs and get some icecream. I sit down on the couch and watch Netflix. I go to messages and see I never sent the text. Fml. I send it and Grayson literally responds within a second. We talk about my life and his just get to know eachother then this...

Grayson😍:  So... we should hangout tomorrow. Wanna go to the beach or sum?

Me: Yeah But I'll Have To See With My Mom.

We keep texting but I get tired so I go tell Mom, Dad, and North goodnight.

Next Morning:

I wake up and go to gymnastics practice.

After Practice

Coach Sanchez comes up to me.

(CS) "Kalani I forgot to tell you one of the strictisit rules here. No boyfriends at all. I know this may be hard but it's for your safety."

(K) "Okay Coach. So no boyfriends. Wait what if I have friends that are boys?"

(CS) "As long as you're not dating. If i find out you have a boyfriend. You get suspended for 5 meets."

(K) "Okay."

I see Mom pull in and I get in the car. I ask my Mom if I can hang out with Grayson and she says yes.  I get my phone and put in my password. I see a 100 messages from Grayson. I text him back about hanging out today.

Me: Hey Grayson. Sorry I Was At Practice. My Mom Said We Can Hangout. Wanna Come Over?

Grayson😍: Forsure. Send me your address.

Hanging Out With Grayson

Grayson gets here and we go outside. Mom seems to like him and so does North. (Lol) Dad gets home and he seems to like Grayson too. It starts to get late so Grayson leaves. I walk him to the door and...

(G) "Kalani do you want to go out with me?"

(K) "Yes of course! Bye Grayson."

(G) "Bye."

I kiss him on the cheek and then he leaves. 

Next Day

I text Grayson.

Me: Grayson Take That Tweet Down. I'm Not Suppose To Have A Boyfriend.

Grayson: Omg babe I'm so sorry. I took it down.

That was so close. Coach could have found out. I go to practice like usual but today I work on my floor routine. Practice is over and I go to the locker room.

(CS) "Kalani I know you have a boyfriend. I told you the rule and you disobeyed it. You know the consequence. You are now eliminated from the next 5 meets. You may still come to practice."

(K) "Coach let me explain."

(CS) "No need to explain I seen Grayson's tweet. Bye now. Hopefully you will learn."

I just couldn't. I started crying. Gymnastics was the only thing that held me together when I lived with that abusive family. I know I have a loving family now but gymnastics is still my life, my passion.
