                              Tai was angry at himself.
He, Agumon and Lunamon were currently running from Frigimon – a Digimon who looked a lot like a giant snowman. Frigimon had a black gear sticking out of his back, but since Agumon and Lunamon were too weak to evolve – and further speaking, the latter didn't have her partner – they were unable to fight back properly. Instead they were running and now they were trapped against an ice cliff. Tai wished that he was with the others, for then at least they would be able to work together to get rid of the black gear.
The sound of flapping wings and ruffling cloths sounded across the snowy plains and Tai looked up to see where it had come from. Agumon and Lunamon gasped in shock as he saw what had caught the boy's attention, and even Frigimon stopped attacking. High above them, silhouette against the sun, was a familiar angel with long hair and billowing skirts. They couldn't see her clearly, but they didn't necessarily need to anyway. If Tai squinted enough, he could make out a pair of bright golden eyes.
                              "Eosmon?" he breathed.
The angel looked at him and her wings extended as far out as they could go. She brought her hands in front of her, forming a triangle with the tips of her fingers touching.
"I will protect you – for Rikka." Tai heard in his mind. His eyes widened and he backed up a step. He had heard her voice before, but now he had a clear enough mind to actually hear it...
                              "Trinity Fire!"
Tai watched in awe as colored flames – lilac, white and gold – engulfed Yukidarumon and destroyed the black gear, leaving the Digimon unharmed. As soon as the gear was destroyed, the flames dispersed and she flew up into the sky and away from the island.
"Lady Eosmon is back... the Legendary Warriors are back," Frigimon awed. "I never thought I'd see the day."
Tai looked away from the retreating angel and looked at snowy Digimon. "Are you alright, Frigimon?" he asked.
                              "Yes. I didn't hurt you, did I?"
"No, we're good." Tai assured. A thought came to him. "Hey, have you seen anyone else here? Some kids like me?"
"Come to think of it – I did see another like you. He was with a Gabumon. They fell onto that other over there."
Lunamon beamed and clapped her paws together, "You've seen Gabumon?"
"And Matt," Tai added, with a relieved sigh and a smile on his face. As he turned to look the smile fell off his face. "Perfect, Matt would land that far away. It's too cold to swim and we're at 100 miles a year!"
Frigimon hummed in thought. "You're a weird kid. But since Lady Eosmon protected you, I know that you are important. I'll help you get across the water."
The large snowman Digimon walked forward a few steps while rearing back his fist. "Subzero Ice Punch!" In a swift manner, Frigimon froze the water before them and created a large strip of ice that stretched out towards the island.
Tai grinned, "I hope your punches don't freeze up,"
"Don't worry. As long as it's cold, I'm full of punch."
"Thank you!" Lunamon was now jumping for joy. "You're very nice, Mister Frigimon!"
"What if the ice breaks while we're out there?" Agumon was having his doubts. "We'd be Seadramon bait!"
Frigimon dispelled this theory by jumping up and down on the ice bridge. Satisfied that the three trust his ice bridge, Frigimon started to walk further out to create another section to the bridge. Tai, Agumon and Lunamon followed behind him, yet the human boy couldn't help but look up to the sky.
