It's been a while, hasn't it? Almost 3 years, based on the last time I updated this story in 2016.
Thank you so so much to everyone who has read, liked, and commented on this story. I honestly did not expect as many views or stars on this story because let's be honest, like most writers, I wrote this for pure fun and something to occupy my time.
You know, when I had time.
So when I started this story, I was still in high school and had way too much time on my hands. And after a while, I got more and more busy once junior and senior year came along. Honestly, I had forgotten about this story and I had forgotten about this Wattpad account. Right now, I'm in the middle of the 2nd year at college and while I still have practically no time at all, I'm still able to squeeze in some writing here and there, and recently I've been rewatching old anime I grew up with as a comfort when I feel a little homesick.
Of course, I've been rewatching Digimon, Digimon 02, Digimon Frontier, etc. over and over again, to the point that I am becoming obsessed with it once more.
That being said - I'm back!
I am still writing Awake and Alive, but it has gone under serious revamping and revising in the last few years since I stopped updating this story. I haven't gotten much farther than what is already published because I've been super particular and fussy with my OC and her role in this story because I didn't want her overpowered, Mary Sue-ish, etc, etc.
I'm going to continue writing and improving this story, so please be patient with me~!
I will be taking down this story sometime soon so as to re-publish my new and improved chapters. It won't be immediately, but most likely by the beginning of April 2019. I'll give some time for anybody who has been following or frequently checking up on this story to find/read this notice and get ready for a comeback.
Really, thank you very much. I rediscovered this account and saw how many views and stars this story had, and it really hit home as to why I write fanfiction. Because there are people like me who want to read stories about their favorite anime, games, books, etc. with a little bit of an added twist~!
