I wake up, hugging my pillow. I groan and look over at my alarm clock, it seemed to be early so I got up. I slide out of bed and tip toe to my closet, yawning and spreading my arms. I rub my eyes and look at all the clothes, I pull out a dress and I smile.

I dance around my room once my dress is on, I sway my hips as I braid my hair. There's a knock on the door and I go to open it,
"Monica, breakfast is ready."
"Oh I'm sorry mom! I should've helped with that." I deflate a little but mom just smiled and rushed me downstairs. I slide into a chair and eat happily, though mom's not the greatest cook, each meal is a gift. My phone buzzes and I quickly look at it, my friends are here to pick me up.
"Mom my friends are here to take me to school."
"Alright have a good day honey, be careful." She hugs me when I get up, I hug her back tightly and kiss her cheek before grabbing my bag to leave.
"I'll see you later mom." I go out to the car and hop on, making sure to buckle my seat belt.

As the car drove I held onto the seat belt and shut my eyes tight, my eyes slightly watering.
"Oh come on Monica don't be a baby." One of the girls groan, my eyes shoot open and I hold my breath as I look out the window. Car rides and I don't mix, especially after my dad had passed away. My eyes start to water but luckily I see the floral designed school gates. I get out of the car as fast as possible gasping for air as I run into the school.

-First Class-

I zip out of my dress in the locker rooms, and slide into my shorts, I pull my tshirt over my head. I take out my frizzy braid and put it into a quick ponytail.
"LETS GO GIRLS! ON THE FIELD! GO GO GO!" The coach rushed us out and made us go to the football field.
"Do you think I'll ever be a flyer?" Asked my childhood friend, Reyana.
"You're pretty tall to be a flyer, I think you look great upfront." I lay on the grass and Reyana pushes against me to help me stretch.
"You're right, they might drop me or something, I don't know how you do it, getting thrown in the air and everything." I tilt my head at her words and wince at the pressure.
"Well.. It's like flying. I also get a nice view." I get up and my eyes meet his, Timothy James, my crush since.. Well forever. He was so sweet and kind, but I've never had the guts to go say Hi.. Well I say hi he's my friend but not like... Hi~.
"Monica! MONICA!!"
"Huh? What?" Reyana waves her hand in front of my face.
"You know you've got to talk to him at some point." I blush and cover my face starting to pace,
"W-what?! No way! I could never, he's so.. So.. He's out of my league." I pout and my shoulders slump.
"This is sad. I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU to make a move on him." She really knew how to make me face my fears.
"Alright. I can do it.. Right?"
"MONICA ON TOP OF THE PYRAMID! NOW!"
"Yes coach."

-End Of Class (In The Hallway)-

Oh my god, he's in the hallway, I begin to turn to run the other way. But Reyana pushes me towards him.
"Timothy James?" I say nervously, twiddling my thumbs. I walk a bit closer and straighten my skirt, saying his name once more.
"Timothy James, is that you?" He turned around,
"Oooh, hi Monica." He smiled and hugged me, which I returned.
"Hey Tim, can you walk me to my next class? I don't like to walk by myself."
"Sure thing." He said, I blush and slowly grab his arm nervously. We walked toward the next building to my next class, noticing he's looking around, then hear a chuckle. I wonder what he's thinking about.

Maybe he's not into walking me to class. I stop at the bridge that leads to my next class. I lean against the bridge and feel the breeze on my face.
"It looks wonderful, I love this school so much." I smile lightly and admire the schools lively garden. "Hey Tim, I heard you were going to the Community Convention this summer, it sounds like fun." I turn and look at him giving my brightest smile.
"It is, I just don't know what to do for my entry. With all this school work I can barely think about it." He began walking and I hurried to catch up,
"Thank you for walking me to class, what are you doing at nutrition?" I ask tilting my head when we stop at my classroom.
"I don't know," he paused for a moment, "Maybe I might draw or something." I blush and take a deep breath before talking softly.
"Do you want to hang out? I don't mind-"
"Uh, sure." I smile brightly and nod,
"Alright, come back here. Okay?" I hold back a giggle.
"Alright." He said with his charming smile.
