"Cold as ice"

From Barry's POV
After I got struck by lightening and got my powers my entire world changed , whether it was for the good or the bad I have still yet to know . I was in a comma for a long time from the Lightning . I woke up from the comma and was greeted by my sister iris , well sort of sister I grew up with her . Along with Joe , the guy that took me in after my dad "killed" my mom. I don't believe he did it but the police took him into custody and he was gone just like that. I had trouble getting used to it but I visited my dad all the time in prison. I've grown to love the family I was graciously taken into.
When I was in my comma I could hear everything going on. I remember people thinking I was going to die , people I didn't even know visited me . One in particular I remember distinctly other than my family and friends. What am I talking about I don't have any "friends" sadly. But that's besides the point , I remember a young women with a soft and soothing voice that I will never forget. They called her Caitlin I remember her coming in quite a few times . I told Iris and Joe I heard everything while I was in a comma. They told the doctor and he said that it happened to three  in a million people who go in a comma.
The doctor cleared me so I could leave the hospital and start my life back up again . I was happy to be alive , but I couldn't forget about Caitlin and her voice replaying in my head. It was something about her I just couldn't let go.

I went to go to work but I was almost late and I had to run , as soon as I stated running I ran so fast it blew debris on the floor to the side . I didn't know what was going on but I knew it was serious . I skipped work today and went to S.T.A.R labs because they deal with this type of stuff.

I arrived with a greeting by Harrison Wells the founder of S.T.A.R labs , the one that made the machine that exploded and struck me with lightning . After examining me he told me I have powers and he would like to work with me to fight crime in Central City I said no . He tried to convince me but I said no once again . I was about to leave until I heard Caitlin's distinctive voice , it was like an angel whispering in my ear. I stopped and gazed into her eyes and chills "cold as ice " ran up my spine until she asked me why I was looking at her , I told her she was beautiful and she smiled and told me she was glad I recovered well. I then left but Caitlin asked why I was leaving and I told her I don't want to work here  and her face faded out of a smile and she told me bye .

I couldn't sleep I was thinking of  the opportunity I was given today. I finally got some sleep and woke up in the morning deciding I should take the job at S.T.A.R labs . I went to S.T.A.R labs and saw Caitlin and a smile crept upon my face , as did hers . I told her I want the job , she told me it's already been taken. She told me that with a little frown on her face. Jealousy came over me in "a flash" and I couldn't shake it off. I missed out of the opportunity of a lifetime , not to mention I could've seen Caitlin everyday . I know I just met her but I feel like I have known he my whole life.
I had to use my powers for good so I went out and fought crime on my own.

I woke up in the middle of the night to a phone call from an unknown number ,I answered it with a hello . I heard the voice I can never forget , it was Caitlin. Her voice was shaken up and it sounded like she was crying , she said she needed someone to talk to. She told me her fiancée died in a car accident and she didn't know what to do . I told her to take deep breaths and remember the good  times she had with him . She said she had to go but the way she said it I knew something was wrong.

later on that night I got a call from work to go to a crime scene they needed my expertise with.I arrived at the crime scene and saw  huge icicles, I was immediately clueless of what or who did this . So I looked closer and saw a blood trail leading to the alleyway and saw ... To be continued
