Hey guys! Welcome to my Sandlot fanfiction! Now before we start, I'd like to say that since the movie was based in 1962, I thought that throughout the story I should use words and slang from the 50s and 60s. Since some of the words might be unidentifiable, here's a dictionary featuring the 1960s slang that will most likely used in this story. So if you see a strange word, you can come back to this chapter and look up the meaning. Or you could use Google, but that's no fun.
Ape: Crazy or out of control
Around the Bend: To be crazy or strange
Bail: To leave a place
Beats Me: I don't know; not knowing or sure of something
Book: Also means to leave a place
Burn Rubber: To accelerate speed in a car hard and fast and leave tire marks
Candyass: Someone who is a wimp or afraid to do something

Far Out: Wonderful, amazing, or just simple approval
