Chapted Twenty - Stomach Bug Love

ALLY'S POV

I wake up with a pounding headache and my stomach turning backflips. I turn away from Aaron's sleeping body and with all of my strength, try to sit myself up and drag my body out of the bed. I groan in pain and jump down to the group, pain shooting through my body.

I stand there for a few moments, dizzily, gaining my balance, and then I suddenly feel last nights food coming back up and I clamp my hand over my mouth and run to the bathroom.

I throw myself over the toilet seat and shivers run up and down my entire body as I violently throw up. (Sorry for the graphic image)

I cough and I feel two soft hands pulling back my hair and then placing one hand on my back, but before I can turn to see who it is, I throw up again.

After taking a few moments to compose myself, I spit and stand up and turn to see Aaron, still holding my hair.

My stomach is in so much pain even though it's empty and I groan.

He pulls me into his chest despite my disgusting soggy mess.

He then removes his hand from my hair and gently runs his fingers through it.

His warm body soothes me and makes me feel the tiniest bit better.

He bends down towards my ear.

"Are you okay?"

His breath gives me shivers.

"No," I say. My voice comes out in a croak, sounding as if I've lost it.

Aaron gently places his hand under my thighs and before I can say anything he carefully picks me up and pulls me close into his chest.

I stay quiet and just shut my eyes, nuzzling into his large jumper.

Goosebumps appear on my arms and I shake with cold.

He carries me into the main room.

I open my eyes to see him looking
down at me and I stare up into his eyes. He places his hand on my forehead and quickly pulls it away.

"Ally, your head is burning hot," he says and gently places me down on the couch.

I curl up into a ball and mumble, "I'm freezing."

Aaron pulls off his jumper and places it over my head. I shiver and the large jumper gives me a safe and surround vibe. I pull the sleeves over my hands and tuck my head half inside the collar.

Aaron leaves and I shut my eyes and I open them again when I hear him enter the room.

He's carrying a large duvet and two pillows and he carefully pulls me to sit upwards and places the pillows on the couch.

I slowly fall back onto them, my body instantly relaxing and easing the pain. I then turn and curl my knees up to my chest. Aaron places the duvet over me and tucks it in around me and I smile even though the duvet is covering my mouth.

I close my eyes again and listen to the sounds of Aaron running around the kitchen.

After a few minutes he gently shakes my shoulder and my eyes flutter open.
