<Chapter 24>

'I wish it could burn memories...'

I walked back inside and hid the photos of Cole and I. I didn't want to see them anymore. "You OK?" Ethan asked. "Ya...I'm fine." I nodded. "Let's go back to school...I've been gone for to long." I said. Ethan nodded and followed me out the door.

I passed through the main doors and saw people getting ready for there next class. I really didn't want to come back but if I missed another day I would get held back. I sighed and walked to my locker. "Omg,Really Cole?!" I heard Elizabeth shriek with excitement. I tuned my head a little to see her. There was Cole right in front of her. He nodded and Elizabeth shreiked and hugged him. I wanted to cry again but I didn't.

I'm tougher than that,who needs him?! I'm fine on my own!! The bell rang telling us to go to our next class. I looked at my phone and knew what class I had to go to. "C'mon Ethan,let's go." I said a little depressed. "Are you sure your OK flower? You seem upset still." He said. "Please don't bring it up. I'm okay,promise." I assured him. He raised his hands in defeat and gave me a if-you-say-so look.

Its been so long since ive sat on my little swing. Ethan sat in the one next to me. "I heard Rod's making you an album." He said. "Yea,I just need to finish my song." I said. "How does it go?" "'Are you insane like me? Been in pain like me? Bought a hundred dollar bottle of shampaon like me?' Is all I have for now." I sang. "Sounds good." "Thanks." I looked to the tables that the other students sat at. There was Cole sitting next to Elizabeth,with his arm around her. 'So that's why...he left for that snotty brat.' I thought. I got up to throw the rest of my food away. "Where are you going?" Ethan asked. "Hm? Oh I lost my appitite so I'm throwing it away." I said and past the table but when I was almost inside, "Hey." Cole said waving. I ignored him and kept walking. I went back to my swing and sat there slightly rocking myself back and forth.

"Wanna talk?" He asked. I shook my head no. "You sure?" He asked. I nodded. "Hey,why don't we put on some music? You love that." Ethan suggested. I nodded and took out my phone. I got out my phone and put on nightcore (the vid) and sang along at times. Ethan looked at me in concern. "You sure your alright?" He asked getting up and standing in front of me. "Yes,I'm fine...I just want to listen to this that's all." I assured him and looked down. He bent down to my height, "Don't lie to me flower," He said lifting my head up making me look at him. "I know your not OK. Your heart- broken...arnt you?" I stared into his light purple eyes and without thinking I pulled him in for a hug. "I don't know what to do Ethan." I mumbled. He stroked my head,"Its alright...I'm here for you."

"Riiiiiiinnnnnnng" the bell sang letting people know lunch was over. I let go of Ethan and grabbed my phone. He held out his hand for me. I took it because I really needed someone by my side and right now all I have is Ethan. We pasted Cole and Elizabeth,who were also holding hands,I ignored them but Ethan glared at Cole.

I got home and saw that Cole left his jacket in the kitchen from last time. I groaned and walked to Elizabeth's to return it,hoping she was home so she could give it to him. I knocked on the door. "What do you want?" She asked annoyed as she opened the door. "I want you to give this to Cole...its his." I said holding up the grey jacket. "Okay." She grabbed the jacket and before she said anything else I walked back home.

I sat on my bed and worked on my song,since I have to see Rod tomorrow. "'And all the people said you can't wake up this is not a dream' ya,that sounds good." I said to myself.

"FINISHED!" I said happily and looked at the clock. 'Its getting late' I thought and got up to brush my teeth and change. I laid back down on my bed and was soon swept away by the sleep's drift.

I woke up and got ready for school. 'I'll visit Rod after school.' Before I knew it I was out the door. I was near the spot were Elizabeth jumps me,I stopped a few feet in front. "Here we go." I sighed. I walked closer a but slowly,scared to see what she would do. To my surprise she wasn't there. "That's new." I mumbled to myself. She's probrobly with Cole.

Once I got to school the first thing I saw was Elizabeth and Cole. Cole gave her a hug and walked off before Elizabeth said "I love you!"
I threw up a little in my mouth. The thought of a little troll saying horrible words. "Do you want me to stay with you tonight again?" He asked popping out of no where. Suprisingly i didnt get scared but I nodded,I wanted his company...I need someone with me at the moment.

"OK then...I'll be there with you." He said putting and arm around me. I gave a week smile and looked at the horrible couple who were kissing. I gaged and left for class.

'How am I going to go threw this?'
