Chapter 6

"DEMI!" Abbie yelled as she walked out the front door of her house.

"Hey kiddo. What would you like to do today" I asked her after we pulled away from the hug and got in my car. God she looks more and more like her sister everyday. They both have the same mesmerizing eyes.

"Umm I don't know. OOOOO I WANT FOOD.can we get food? Wait mall! I want to go to the mall." Abbie said excitedly as hyperness took over the small child's body.

"Yes" I said chuckling. I saw a frozen yogurt shop on our way to the mall so I made a note to stop by on the way back.

"Demi look it's that guy from that band Elli liked." She screamed and ran up to the tattooed man. He was standing right inside the doorway of a dimly lit Hot Topic.

"Hello" he said looking down at Abbie.

"Hi, my sister loved you. You were her favorite band." Abbie said. "Your name starts with a K. I don't member it" she huffed.

"Kellin. And you are? Where's the person you came with?" He asked. I guess he didn't see me walk up.

"I am Abbie. And demi is behind me." She said giggling.

"Holy shit" he said as he looked up.

"Hi." I replied laughing.

"Abbie. Would you like me to sign something for your sister?" Kellin asked.

"You can't!" She said, tears welling up.

"Why? I'm sure she'd love it. Here I will buy her something and sign it." He said going off to find something for her.

"You can't she's dead" Abbie screamed and shoved her head against my chest and sobbed.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry. I didn't know" Kellin said with sadness in his voice.

"You were suppose to save her. She said y'all saved her. You didn't shes dead now. Why didnt you help" she screamed lunging at Kellin and repeatedly hitting him with her fists.

"Abbie, sweetie. Calm down. He couldn't help. Not with this" I sighed taking her in my arms as she flailed around trying to get free. She finally calmed down with the help of Kellin and I singing.

"I'm sorry" she mumbled and ran to Kellin hugging him tightly.

"Its okay Abbie. I'm sorry about what happened." While Abby was sobbing into my chest I gave kellin the short version of what had happened.

After a little while of talking with Kellin and him buying Abbie a few shirts and stuff she liked at hot topic we left. I stopped at the frozen yogurt shop and headed back to Abbie's house.
