Chapter seventeen

I rounded the corner and saw the person I was expecting to see. "Hey
(y/n)!" Armin said getting up from the wall he was leaning on. "So umm you ready to go?" "Sure Armin, but where are we going exactly?" He grabbed my hand and started pulling me a direction. "You'll see!" He turned back to me and smiled.

Once we arrived at our destination, I stood and looked around in awe. "Oh Armin it's so beautiful up here!" I said as I ran to the top of the hill and spun around.(sound of music style XD). I sat on the ground and Armin sat beside me. "I know it is pretty, this is my favourite spot." He said as he looked up to the stars. "I always come up here to think or read, I escape from reality when I'm up here." I looked over at him. The way the stars and moon shone light on his face was so, perfect. There were almost no words that would describe it other then "beautiful" or "handsome". He then layed down. I then layed down beside him. There was an awkward silence for a moment or two, but I decide to speak up.

"You know what I wish sometimes Armin." He looked at you. "What is it?" I raised an arm, reaching for the stars. "Well sometimes I wish I could fly away from all my problems, and join the stars. That would be great wouldn't you think?" I then clenched my hand, and then lowered it down to my chest. "But then I wake up from my dreams, and then I have to face reality again." I sighed as I thought about it more. Armin then gave off a warm smile. "You know sometime I wish something like that too." You looked up into his oceanic blue eyes. "R-really?" "Yeah I do, but if I did ever fly away, who would be there to support my friends? Or to help the scouting legion take back wall Maria?" He grabbed my hand. It surprised me at how strong his grip was. Everyone is important in their own way. Down on this planet. point is (y/n), your important. Especially to me I don't know what I would do without you." I blushed at his words. "Does he really think that highly of me?" I giggled a little to myself. "W-what's so funny?" Armin asked as he gazed at me curiously. "Nothing you're just too cute!" I smiled up at him. He blushed a deep pink as soon as he heard my words. "(Y-y-/n).." I stopped giggling and looked up at his face. We were so close. How did we even get this close?

We slowly started to get closer and closer together. I closed my eyes knowing what was going to happen. I waited for the moment for our lips to touch, it felt like I waited a century. Then as I could feel his breath on my lips...
"HEY (Y/N), WHERE ARE YOU!!?" We both jumped back in surprise. Soon we both saw Hange running over to us from the bottom of the hill. "Hey *puff* (y/n) there *puff* you are, I was loo-" she then widened her eyes. "Oh god I hope I'm not ruining anything, just umm ah, come see me when your finished." Armin and I both looked down and realized we both still had our hand interlocked with each others. We pulled away and I stood up immediately. "O-oh don't worry Hange, y-you didn't ruin anything." I looked back at Armin. "I'm sorry I have to go, but thanks for showing me this place. I promise I won't tell anyone." "O-ok well I guess I'll see you around then." He waved back a bit nervous.

"Sigh, ok Hange what do you need me for." I lookedd at her as we were almost back to the main building. She looked at me a bit more serious bthen before. "We have to prepare you (y/n), the dates for the expedition have moved up. We're leaving tomorrow."
