Isaac's POV

It's the end of the day and I walk out of the school and head over to the entrance so I can start walking home. Halfway down the road I hear something behind me. I turn around and see that it's Scott on his bike. I stop walking and he stops next to me.
"Why are you walking?"
"Well, my dad refuses to pick me up or drop me off so I walk to and from school." He frowns and holds out an extra helmet.
"Here, tell me the directions and I'll drop you off at home." I bite my lip. My dad would beat me black and blue and move us away if he knew I was mated to the pack Alpha. Oh well, it's worth it. Scott will protect me, hopefully. I grab the helmet and put it on, then get on behind him when he scoots forward a bit. I wrap my arms tightly around him and he takes off. After yelling the directions at him, he finally gets me to my house. I get off the bike once he's parked and my legs feel like jelly.
"Was it fun?"
"Well, it was my first time ever on a bike so, yeah. In a way." He smiles at me.
"Good, because hopefully I can bring you too and from school." I smile back at him and nod my head.
"That would be nice."
"Then it's settled." I nod again and lead him into my house. I forgot there was boxes everywhere and blush in embarrassment when I open the door.
"Sorry it's kinda a mess. We haven't finished unpacking yet." Correction, I haven't finished packing yet. My dad just lounges around on the couch, drinking and yelling at me.
"Don't worry about it, it's fine." I smile at him and walk upstairs to my room. I open my door and walk inside.
"This is my fort of solitude." He laughs and follows me inside. I close the door behind him and he looks around.
"It's homey. I like it." He smiles and sits on the edge of my bed. I sit next to him and he wraps his arm around me and I shyly snuggle into him.
"You're adorable." He nuzzles his face in my hair and I blush.
"T-thank you." I mentally slap myself for stuttering. Good job, Isaac. While I was mentally killing myself I heard my dad's car pull into the driveway and I tense up. No, no, no. Not now. Why now?
"Okay, I think you need to head home Scott. I've had a good time but, um, I have homework." He looks at me weird.
"Are you okay?" I nod but I can tell he doesn't believe me. He was going to say something but the sound of the door slamming cuts him off.
"Isaac! Get your ass down here and make dinner." I sigh. It's too late. Scott growls and walks to my door.
"Who is that?" I quietly mumble that it's my dad and he looks at me with wide eyes.
"He treats you like that?!" I shush him and he gives me a look.
"You're coming with me. I refuse for my mate to be treated like this." I blush and shake my head.
"I can't Scott. My dad will freak out if I left." He pulls me close to him and growls possessively.
"He'll get over it. You're mine now, I want you to come with me." I shiver and nod in agreement with what he said. He's my alpha and I have to be with him. I don't care what my dad thinks.
"Okay, I'll come." He smiles.
"Good, I wasn't going to take no for an answer." I laugh and he kisses the top of my head. He let's me go and I back a bag quickly. I only fill it with clothes and valuable items that I can't leave behind. I nod at him and he wraps his arm around me, leading me downstairs. My dad looks at us with disgust and confusion.
"Isaac, who's this?" I smile up at Scott.
"This is my mate. The pack alpha, Scott." Scott waves and my dad's eyes bulge out of his head.
"You're the mate of the alpha?!" I nod and he glares at me.
"Pack you're shit, we're going to the old pack." I shake my head and Scott growls lowly at him.
"Like hell you're taking him away from me. I'd like to see you try." My dad steps back a little and forcefully bows his head and through clenched teeth he speaks to Scott.
"I apologize, alpha." Scott leads me outside with my dad following us.
"Where are you taking him?" Scott glares at him and gets on the bike with me behind him.
"Far away from you." And with that, we speed off down the road.
