Ashes Chapter 3: Confusion in the eyes of sadness.
These past days played circles. It usually went like this:

The daunting futility of the future, seemed unbearable. But even still he was doing well at Deathlyville academy. He could pilot the Deathlyville finches [ the air crafts constructed to keep The plains stranded civilizations from marauding their own], with incredible dexterity, he could get a dead shot from miles away, its just the fact that even though he was a prodigious engineer/gunman/soldier/scholar, he did not fit in. But little did he know, there was a mighty maelstrom coming, that would make him do things that he would regret and find that he had never dreamt of the events to come.
In the searing fires of industry, in the heart of the Deathlyville biological research facility, A senior- Doctor Mary Zero, had perfected a new master race that would be an evolutionary leap into the future. But luckily for her,with all the corruption in the world there would not be a single ripple out of this, and so it was left to 'fester within' until its effects were amplified to an apocalyptic scale. Meanwhile...
'Um, Lilly yeah ...um I'm kinda sorry for freaking you out the other day...',bumbled Hans attempting to grasp the faint thread of redemption that hung in the air.
'It's okay, after all I was in the more fortunate position, and you were close to eminent death',sounded in Hans' ears as he was hauled up via the thread. At this he felt an increasingly heavy chain pull at his throat. His eyes were met by a strange double sided key, gleaming with a ghostly green light.
