I Promise (Shu x Pregnant! Reader part 2)

"Ugh I'm so hungry...." A nine month pregnant (Name) complains loudly. "Shu can you get me some (Favorite Food)?"

"We ran out of that yesterday. You ate it all within a hour of having it." Shu replies with a tired tone.

"It's not my fault that I'm eating so much. (Favorite food) was just to delicious to ignore...." (Name) says as tears start to come out of her eyes.

'Oh great the moodswings. This is troublesome...' Shu thinks to himself. The mood swings of her were really rapid. One minute she's angry and the next she's crying her eyes out. He knows it's not her fault for being hormonal and all, but dang it drives him crazy sometimes.

Shu gets up from lying down on his back and stands up on his feet. He then holds his hand out for the pregnant girl. "Ok you win. Let's go into town to get your (Favorite food)." He says to her.

(Name) wipes away her tears and gladly takes Shu's hand. "Thanks Shu! You're the best!" She happily says while giving him a bright smile.

Shu just sighs at the girl's sudden change in moods and looks away from her to hide the small blush on his face. After spending a lot of time of her for the past nine months, he started to develop feelings for (Name). At first he was just going to be there to help (Name) support the baby, no romantic feelings whatsoever, but then she started to grow on him. Every moment they spent together made the blonde vampire extremely happy which he hasn't felt in years ever since Edgar. He feels like (Name), their child, and himself can be an actual family, but he's not sure she feels the same way.

"Let's get going now." Shu says as he starts walking, guiding (Name) to the front door while still holding her hand that he never wants to let go of.

"Aw come on! Why don't they have my (Favorite food) in stock?!" (Name) grumbles as she crosses her arms across her chest.

"Maybe the store just ran out? This type of food brand is pretty popular among humans." Shu says as he rubs the back of his neck, never going to understand the cravings of pregnant women.

"Well duh they are pretty popular among humans, but they're also pretty popular among vampires. Kanato even tries to steal my precious (favorite food) sometimes." She says with an annoyed tone. "Can we go see if the store manger has them in stock? I don't think me or our baby can live without my (favorite food.)"

"Sure we can, but I'll go ask. You look exhausted." He says to her as he puts his arm around the girl's shoulder, trying to guide her to a nearby seat.

"Yeah sure...." (Name) answers him, honestly feeling pretty tired from walking around a lot due to being nine months pregnant. She can't also but feel a little flustered to see Shu being so caring for her.

The past nine months the two have gotten closer and it made her fall for him. She is still surprised to this day that Shu didn't ditch her after her pregnancy was revealed in front of the whole Sakamaki household. She just thought he would leave her on her own, but he proved her wrong. The lazy vampire has been by her side for all the nine months through good and bad times. (Name) just hopes that he stays with her even after their baby is born, but she doesn't want to get her hopes up.

"I'll be back in a few minutes. If anything happens, I'll teleport right to you." Shu says to her while blushing a little and then walks away to go find the store manger.

(Name) blushed a beat red at what Shu last said and decides to distract herself. She looks down at the big bump from her nine month belly and gently rubs it. "I wonder when you're going to come into this world. Your dad and I can't wait to see your face. It'll bring the both of us joy." She says with a smile and then looks around her to see if Shu is coming.
