April couldn't sleep. All she could think about was that abandoned shack. It seemed like something so insignificant in her life yet every time she got it out of her head it popped back in again.

The next morning, April dragged herself put of bed after having around 2 hours of sleep that night. She made her way downstairs, had breakfast and watched her anime in her room for the rest of the day, until around 9pm. When the clock hit nine, April left the house, jumped into her car and sped off down the street. She had made up her mind, she was going to check out that rundown shack tonight to stop those stupid images from flashing in her head.

When she arrived, she noticed the place looked even worse than before. A faded sign on top of the door had lots of letter missing but April could figure out the letters: F, E, D, A, Z, B, R, P, Z, Z. April wasn't fully sure what it meant but she figured the last word may have spelt pizza at one point in time.

She pushed the door into the building and too her surprise, it gave way very easily. Her shirt got a little dirty from pushing the door but she didn't care. She never really had cared about getting dirty her whole life despite her mother's best efforts to get her to be cleaner.

She took out her phone and pressed the flashlight so she could see around. She looked around but all she saw was a dark hallway with a rotted, wooden counter near the entrance. She wondered into the cobweb overrun building. As she walked she came across yet another door. She pushed it but this one didn't close as easily. It was as though someone tried to lock the doors behind them but in their rush they had missed the front door. April shook the thought out of her head and continued trying to push the door down. After trying and trying without any success she looked around the small hallway again.

Suddenly, she saw something purple appear from nowhere behind her. She spun around to see a large purple figure quickly fade away. Scared, she backed away and tripped over a crack in the floorboards. She banged her head on the door behind her, causing a small crack to appear in the door. She laid there for a few minutes before getting up and looking through the small crack she had created. She couldn't see much but she could make out a few tables and chairs with broken party hats placed along them.

April continued to look around when she saw something, or someone, in the darkness. It was rather tall and had purple, glowing eyes. It seemed to be searching around for something. In shock, April dropped her phone, making a small bang. April picked up her phone and continued to watch the figure. Then to her horror, she discovered it was looking right at her! She jumped back in shock and backed away from the door. She stood up and ran out the building to her car. As she jumped in her car, she saw the same purple figure from before standing in the front doorway she had left wide open. This one appeared to have no eyes, and a hat and bowtie on it. April would have looked closer but she was too frightened after that purple eyed creature had stared at her. She turned the key in the ignition and sped off home.
