Chapter 1
Dimitri's P.O.V
"Run Dimitri, Run!" my mother screamed as she pulled me along the long hallway of the abandon building we were hiding in. "Aahh" my mother screamed in pain. I turned around and saw a dagger sticking straight out of her chest. She pulled it out with a gasp and through it into the assassins head killing him instantly. My mother dropped to the ground onto her knees, I dropped to my knees next to her "mother, what can I do?" I begged." Nothing" was her reply. I didn't know what to say or do so I layed her down resting her head on my jacket that I had pulled off. "I'm so sorry Tanya" a woman's voice called from the distance. "It's been a long time Danii" my mother said. "I only wish I could have seen you again in better circumstances" my mother said now barley in a whisper. I grabbed my mother's hand and she squeezed it. "Hello Dimitri" Danii said now standing next to me. "Danii you will be free soon" Danii said. "Yes I know please take care of my son" my mother pleaded, "I will now rest" Danii said, "Dmitri" my mother whispered "yes mother" I replied, "you need to go now with Danii, don't worry you will be safe, she is my most trusted friend. I love you my son" she said and kissed my hand. "I love you too mother" I said and stood to my feet, "now go! It's still not safe here" my mother said, "goodbye my friend" Danii said putting her arm around me and we walked away. Danii and I walked for two days talking about different things she told me about all of the different vampires living in her coven and her daughter Emily, but she wouldn't tell me about her gift. Which I thought was weird. When we reached the hideout there was a beautiful girl out the front that looked about my age maybe a year younger. Her long straight brown hair moved in the light breeze and her dark brown eyes made me want to melt.
Emily's P.O.V
As my mother and Dimitri got closer I couldn't help but look at him with his messy black brown hair and his almost black brown eyes and I could tell that he had a perfect six-pack with his t-shirt clinging to him perfectly. As my mother walked up to me the first thing she said was "what are you doing out here?" I took a giant leap and hugged he and she hugged me back "I've missed you too" my mother whispered in my ear. "Don't worry Danii I was looking after her" said Ty (my best friend) walking up behind me. "Hi I'm Ty, you must be Dimitri?" Ty asked putting his hand out to shake Dimitri's hand "yes I am but how did you know?" Dimitri asked shaking Ty's hand. "Umm you will find out later" Ty replied. "Come on let's get inside. Ty can you please show Dimitri to your room" my mother said. "yep, sure I can, come on Dimitri" Ty said and they both walked off. "Come on sweetheart we need to get Dimitri some clothes" my mother said "ok lets go" I replied.
With Dimitri's clothes in hand I walked to Ty and Dimitri's room. I knocked on the door and Ty told me to come in I walked through the door turned around to close it, once it was shut, I turned around to walk into the room more but instead I walked straight into Dimitri dropping all of his clothes onto the floor. It took me a couple of seconds to realize that my hand where resting on his naked chest and his hand were around my waist keeping me from falling on my butt. But as soon as I realized my face went bright red and I dropped my hands to my side. "Im so sorry" I said, Ty couldn't hold it in any longer and fell of his bed laughing. "That's ok" Dimitri said, I levitated his clothes into my hands and passed them to him "here, I hope they fit you right" I said when he took them he walked to the bathroom to change into them. I walked over to Ty's bed and sat on it with my legs crossed. "So when is dinner time? I'm hungry" said Ty once Dimitri came out fully clothed. "We can go now if you want? Because we just got a whole lot of blood delivered". I said to Ty and Dimitri "that sounds good to me" said Dimitri. "Ok then let's go" I said and walked out of the room with Ty and Dimitri following.
