***Chandler's POV***

I stepped onto the fresh turf; the powder blue was bright and the green vibrant and new, obviously recently replaced. I looked at the bleachers that seemed never ending.. I was in a different game. My admiration took me into a new world as I looked around, but I was quickly brought back by an unfamiliar male voice.

"Nick and Dylan, my two favorite twins! Long time no see." The 5'10" man with salt and pepper hair greeted them with quick hugs and pats on the back.

"Don! How was your summer?" Nick replied politely.

"Great, I just stayed by campus and got to watch the beautiful renovations from my office." Nick and Dylan nodded with admiration, and Dylan responded.

"Ya, turf looks new as ever, and I can't wait to put some points on that new scoreboard." Don laughed, and looked at me while responding.

"I'm sure your sister here will be putting up the points as well. Hi I'm Don, the athletic trainer here." He stuck his hand out and I shook.

"Hi I'm Chandler." I said with a genuine smile.

"Oh, I know who you are. We get a list of the potential stars and trust me you were at the top." I blushed. "Right inner attack?" I nodded. "I expect you to put the most points up there." He pointed to the scoreboard and I nodded once more.

"I'll try not to disappoint." We continued chatting about athletics until we said our goodbyes and headed towards the exit.

As we stepped on the track that surrounded the turf field, a boy with a soccer ball in hand started to walk on. Nick tapped Dylan's shoulder and they both turned to him. Nick spoke first.

"Horan what the hell are you doing on our field?" The boy stopped walking and turned to face my brothers. I was standing a little behind them while noticing his features. He was shorter than Nick and Dylan, but most were. He had toned muscles you could see through his tight, grey shirt. His blonde hair that peaked through the sides of his hat caught the sunlight and glistened. His eyes were covered in black matte Ray-Bans. He looked like a normal student on campus, but the tension in the air was palpable. He smirked a little before speaking.

"What? I can't stop by and say hi to my old friend Don without you two trying to cause a fight?" He bounced the ball on the track and caught it back into his palm. Dylan took one step closer.

"Who said anything about a fight, unless you're interested?" The blonde boy quickly responded in a monotone voice.

"Always am." Dylan took another step closer. Before I could process my actions I walked towards my hot tempered brother and rested a hand on his shoulder.

"Come on let's just go. We were leaving anyway." I spoke quietly into his ear so the boy wouldn't hear. Dylan nodded his head and eased his muscles.

"I'll see you around Niall, but seriously off the field unless you are looking for trouble."

Niall was an unusual name, but he seemed unusual altogether. He lingered in my thoughts until we reached the exit.

Once we were out of the stadium I spoke about the events that had just previously occurred. "Ummm what was that about?"

Nick laughed quietly and insincerely. "You'll understand soon enough."

***Niall's POV***

After rolling out of the bed quietly, trying not to wake Alexis (I think) I put on my black nike running shorts, a grey shirt and some shoes. I grabbed my ball and keys and exited my sleeping frat house. I bounced the ball down the sidewalk on the way to my car. I sat in the driver's seat of my 2006 black Ford Explorer, my pride and joy all placed into a car I bought with my own money, and thought of where to go while I waited for the girl to get the hell out of my bed.
