***Niall's POV***
The party was in full swing and the strong stench of alcohol and body odor filled the air. I hadn't danced with anyone or even attempted talking to any girls even though I was pretty smashed. I threw my plastic cup on the floor and scanned the room.
I spotted a cute brunette on the edge of the dance floor. I approached her, and introduced myself. Pretty soon I had led her to the dance floor; my hands were on her hips as she grinded her ass against me. Our movements weren't on beat with one another but I didn't care, it still felt good and I was drunk.
She pressed harder and dropped lower; she continued to press her lower half against mine but lifted her head and rested her hand on my neck. She was giving me the universal sign of a girl wanting to make out, and so I led her to the back corner.
I pressed her against the wall, I kept my hands on her hips as I placed my lips against hers. She immediately inserted her tongue and her mouth was moving a little too fast for my taste. I guided her with my own tongue to slow down and she obeyed. We continued for a little while, but she disconnected.
She batted her eyes at me, as if waiting for an invitation into my room, but I was just not feeling it. I excused myself to go to the bathroom and disappeared back into the kitchen to find a lot more beer.
While pushing through the crowd I couldn't stop fantasizing about kissing Chandler or dancing with her. The thought alone turned me on way more than anything I had done with that girl.
***Chandler's POV***
I sat in the locker room and peeled off my shin guards before scrubbing my face. I changed into some not disgusting smelling clothes.
I had made it through the two weeks of two-a-days, and Morgan assured me I did nothing but impress the coaches and the players; it meant a lot coming from her.
It had also been two weeks since I saw or spoke with Niall. I was bummed because he was the only boy that intrigued me at all on the campus so far. I grabbed my bag and stick and turned my back as I exited the locker room. I backed right into a tall body as I dropped my bag.
I turned to see who I had run into. He was a soccer player, with kind brown eyes. "I'm so sorry." I spoke embarrassed at my clumsiness. He leaned down and picked up my bag and stick and smiled as he handed them to me.
"Oh it's alright." He paused before introducing himself. "I'm Liam Payne." I placed my bag back on my shoulders and greeted him.
"I'm Chandler King." He pointed to my stick.
"Field hockey?" I nodded and he continued. "How are the practices going? I see you guys out here all the time." I shrugged.
"We just finished two-a-days so I'm feeling pretty good, and I think they went really well." He smiled before responding.
"Yeah, we don't work quite as hard as you guys if I'm being completely honest." I laughed. "Well since you guys are done with two-a-days it seems you'll have a lot more free time on your hands." I nodded my head.
"Seems like you are right." He pulled out his phone.
"You should put in your number, we could hang out sometime." I entered my number into his black iPhone 5 and saved the contact. He smiled. "Be expecting a text.. I'll seeya round." I smiled flirtatiously back before saying goodbye.
The walk back to the dorm was peaceful. Ana was sitting on her computer, probably finishing summer assignments; classes started in two days. It was about 6:10 as I glanced at my phone screen.
"Hey wanna grab some dinner?" I smiled at her offer.
"Yeah of course! I'm just gonna shower real quick."
