"Sometimes I'm terrified of my heart; of its constant hunger for whatever it is it wants. The way it stops and starts." - Edgar Allan Poe

Your P.O.V.

I knew I couldn't skip school today even though I really, really wanted to. But mid terms were tomorrow and if I wasn't in school for these next two days then not only would Korosensei kill me but so would my parents. Last night was a wreck, I took three showers trying to erase not only the blood but my guilt. But alas only one of those things went away. Hopefully school will be a nice distraction from my fucked up brain. And hopefully it won't bother me today. Hopefully.

Once I'm all done getting ready I grab an apple and look in the mirror one more time. The makeup I applied makes me look less like a murderer and more like a teenage girl. The bags under my eyes are gone and the cuts and bruises on my arms and legs are not visible at all. I flash myself the best fake smile I could muster grab an apple before heading out the door. Trying to keep my fake happy demeanor up I hummed a tune while I walked. Getting to the base off the hill I saw Karma standing there again looking like he was waiting for someone. 'Is he waiting for me again? Did he do this yesterday too?' My face got red and I shook the thought away slowly walking up to him and when he saw me it seemed liked his eyes lit up with mischief. "There's the lady of the hour! Where were you yesterday I waited here for an hour! I think I deserve a present from you to make up for it." He said with a small smirk on his face and the sound of trouble seemed to be laced throughout his voice and I laughed. "Like hell I'm giving anything to you red! But I will let you do the honor of walking me up the hill to school." I teased him matching his tone. "I guess that's as good as I'll get," He shrugged his shoulders and closed his while sighing, "But if that's as good as I will get then I guess I will take it." He said while leaning forward his nose almost touching mine. I could feel his breath on my face as my eyes got wide. He leaned back up standing tall looking at me with his signature smirk then turned and started to walk. "Hurry up or we will be late!" He called over his shoulder. Shaking off what just happened I speed up to catch up with him and we start to talk and laugh and I almost feel normal, almost.

Classes seemed to drag on forever. We just kept reviewing over, and over, and over again. And I already knew everything we were reviewing! Luckily after what seemed like years it was finally time to go home. Quickly I got out of my seat and rushed to the door ready to get out of the school when suddenly I heard a voice call my name. "(Y/N)!". I turned my head around to see Karma. Confused I walk over, "Is there something you need Karma?" I asked. He gave me a devilish grin "Actually yes there is, I have nothing to do this evening and so I would like to know if you would accompany me to the movies?" Shocked I looked at him that grin never leaving his face. "Ummmmmmmm, sure I guess I could go to the movies with you." I said still kind of confused. "Great! I will pick you up at 7 o'clock. See you then."  He winked and turned around strolling away looking as confident as ever. I shook my head and turned to walk away.' It would be a good distraction from everything else I have been'. I thought as I walked home.

At around 6:00 did I start to get ready. I decided on black skinny jeans, a white shirt with a yinyang  on it, black converse, and a yinyang necklace I looked at myself once more in the mirror. It wasn't to fancy and it wasn't to casual. Slightly smiling I nodded and checked the time '6:34' the clock read. So sitting on the couch I turned on the TV waiting to hear my doorbell ring. When it finally did I quickly went to answer the door, standing there was Karma his head held high and a smirk on his face. He was wearing regular blue jeans, a red and black striped shirt, a gray sweater, and black sneakers. Once seeing me in the door way his smirk grew wider. "You look great, ready to go?" The mischief in his voice was evident and as he held out his arm for me to take with his eyebrow raised I just smiled and took his arm, "Ready as I'll ever be."

I am going to write a new story but its going to be on a different account and I'm looking to see if someone wants to preview the preview I wrote (That sounds funny). Also next chapter I will announce the winners of the contest! Please do not be upset if I didn't pick you, I made my decision based on what character I thought would best fit the plot I have in mind. Well that's all for now I hope you all have a good day/night/afternoon!
