Beep...Beep...Beep... My back ached, and I saw nothing but empty darkness. Where was I? Voices echoed everywhere and, I felt the bed moving. "Move! A patient is awake from an 11 year coma!" "She's in critical condition!" "Move!"
A needle was slipped into my arm as the bed stopped moving.I woke up with a soft feeling on my arm. "Akase..." It was a soft, comforting voice. I opened my mouth to speak but, only a fit of coughs came out. I managed to get out a few words. "W-who a-are you?"
A few moments later, I heard the chair fall to the ground. Followed by hurried footsteps and silence. Hushed whispers came from the far corner of the room. "It's best you stay away from her." And with that, the door slammed close.
"What's your name?" I touched my temple, a large migrane pulsating through my forehead. "I...don't know." I heard scribbling on paper. "What do you see?" I stared out into the empty void. Words getting caught in my throat. "N-n-n-no-noth-" I clenched my fists. There was more scribbling on paper.
"Miss Akase. I have concluded with tests that you have, glaucoma and amnesia. Plus a few more...complications you do not need to concern yourself with. You may be discharged in further notice."I felt someone grab my arm. "Don't touch me!" I struggled off the wheel chair. "I need more answers! Tell me what's happening!" I felt tears run slowly down my cheeks. I heard words whispered into my ear, "I'm sorry miss" I felt a needle poking into my arm. The world slipping out of my hands.
