* This story is both a human AU and a high school AU, meaning, that the gems aren't...well...gems.
* This'll all take place in Peridot's point-of-view
* Lapis Lazuli and Peridot will both be in highschool.
* The high school they will be attending is Crystal Gem Prep.
* Lapis Lazuli will be coming from a Filipino descendant while Peridot will be Korean.
* Peridot lives in a dormitory. Her parents are in Korea.
* The crystal gems (Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl) will be college/university students. They are currently babysitting Steven and helping with Greg financially.
* Steven doesn't attend school and is mostly homeschooled from Greg and other online courses. The Crystal Gems helps Steven with academics from time to time
* Connie currently attends middle school
* Rose Quartz is still Steven's deceased mother. She died pretty young
* Pearl is Japanese, Garnet is an African-American, and Amethyst is Hispanic
* Ruby and Sapphire are Garnet's guardians/parents.
* The fusions presented in this fic are high schoolers, and aren't related with the gems themselves. (e.g. Stevonnie will not be related to Steven and Connie). The only exception is Garnet.
* Malachite will be the only fusion not represented here.
* All the gems till Smoky Quartz's appearance will be featured here.
* Can you believe that Steven still has a pet lion in this AU because I do.
