Alfred immediately faked a cough. "Anyways, why are you covered in that, Francis?" He asked, gesturing at Francis.
"That's because a sack of flour suddenly appeared and fell on me! The sack disappeared, so now Arthur won't believe me."Arthur furrowed his thick eyebrows. "There's no way a sack of flour would appear and disappear all of a sudden here. Admit it, you got hit with a sack of flour at some bakery and stumbled your way here to change."
"I'm not lying! And why would I be at a bakery this late? Why would I go to Matthew's house when I have my own house?"
"Same question! What the bloody hell are you doing here at this hour?!"
"I came because I heard all of you were here!"The two glared at each other like they were about to strangle one another. Before they could though, Matthew raised his hand like he was going to answer a question. "Maybe the sack of flour did appear all of a sudden, just like [name]."
Silence filled the room once Matthew spoke. He just went and made it awkward, didn't he? "No, I don't think so." I tried to low-key change the subject, but Francis was still confused. "What do you mean?"Arthur sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "We have reason to believe that she was teleported from a different universe."
"Oh, she's from a different dimension! I haven't met someone from a different dimension. What's it like there?" Francis didn't take at least a second of hesitation. He didn't even look surprised or bothered, just excited. I was taken surprised."You're not bothered that we might all sound a tad... crazy?"
"You're probably here because of Arthur's terrible magic again. At this point, this is nothing new, really. Don't worry, he learns to fix the problems after a while. It only took him a year to figure out how to stop summoning Ivan!" I cringed at the last part.
A whole year.
What if I take longer than that?
What if the others at home give up looking for me because I took too long?
Oh no...
What if they forget me?
That'd be too much.
Matthew started rubbing my back reassuringly and that's when I realized I wasn't breathing. I took a big inhale. I seriously need to calm down.I wiped the sweat off my forehead. Once I looked up to face the others again, they all looked worried."Love, I promise, I won't let it take that long..."

I sighed as the sack of flour I experimented on appeared torn in the middle of the dying light of the pentagram."It didn't work again..." I put my spell book down on the table and scratched my head in frustration.Just like that, another pancake fell flat on the pentagram."MATT STOP THROWING PANCAKES ON THE FUDGING PENTAGRAM!" I finally snapped.
Matt does this every now and then. Honestly, it's gotten quite annoying.Matt shrugged and reclined on his chair. "Still think it'd work." He's spent most of his day here. He tries to help me work on spells, but it's obvious that he has something in his mind.
He even spaces out at times. It's a good thing the others act as distractions for him at times. As if right on cue, Allen slammed the door open. "Yo Matt, Kuma's scratching my bedroom door again!"
"I told you, he's just bored when he does that."
"Help me take him out!"
"Do it yourself!"
"It'll hurt me!"
"And so?"
After that, Allen slammed the door shut while muttering about Kuma being a stupid bear. Matt sighed and massaged his forehead. "I almost forgot about Kuma," he muttered.
"You almost forgot to go out at all this day," I reminded."Heh, I can't really do much given the situation."Oh. So he admits that he's preoccupied."You've got to calm down, Matt. [Name]'s not stupid. She's probably trying to figure out a way home right now."Matt sighed again and closed his eyes shut.
"I know."
He then had a small smile tug his lips.
"I just want to see her again."
A new sense of purposefulness filled me.
"Oh, I'll make sure you will."
