I quickly looked away, trying to prevent myself from saying something stupid or blushing, though I always managed to do one no matter what. He spoke first. "Sorry bout waking you...."
I shrugged and said. "Eh, don't worry about it, I normally have trouble sleeping anyway...what's being awake a few more hours gonna do?"
He smiled a crooked smile, "I suppose."
I was about to reply when I heard a crash downstairs. I quickly ran down, George following close behind. I saw what happened, and my eyes widen. "W-what the bloody 'ell?!" a thick accent I normally kept hidden came out.
A purple and yellow cup was shattered on the ground. This wasn't just any cup though, it was one I made for Paul when I was three. He kept it all these years, it had little music notes all around it, and a few flowers I felt like I needed to add. The others looked at younger Paul and John, who looked guilty. "I bumped into it..." Paul said.
"I bumped into Paul.." John also replied.
I pouted, and knelt down and picked up the pieces, trying to fit them together to see if it was fixable, and it seemed it was. I sighed in relief and gently placed the pieces down on the table. "Just...please....be careful next time..."
"I promise, sorry luv." Paul spoke.
"Yah, wont happen again. I give ya my word." John added.
