Chapter 7




After 2 months




Ivory's POV




Everything has been great in my new pack. Me and Gabe brought back our old friendship while I also made a few friends in the pack namely Colton, Trevor and Travis, Michelle, Derek and a girl named Alisha. I also met the former Luna of this pack or the one who took care of Gabe when he was exiled, she was very kind to be exact.



After Gabe told me I shifted, I was expecting to be shifting after a while but sadly, I never did. Gabe just told me to give my wolf time.



For the last two months that I've been here, I haven't heard from my old pack, the Blue Midnight Pack. I'm sure my family is very worried especially Ryan. I wanted to call them so much but I'm not ready to face them. I know tha sooner or later, I would be visiting them, Natalie and maybe the pack.



Right now, I am in my room with Michelle and Alisha. I've gotten so close to them for the past months, they already became my bestfriends. Of course, I would never forget Natalie.



" So what are we going to do today?" Alisha asked. It's a Saturday and clearly we haven't made any plans for today.



" Go to the mall?"



" No, we just went there yesterday"



" Wanna go to the carnival nearby?"



" Nah"



" Camping?"



" No"



" Well, anymore ideas?" Michelle asked. Suddenly, an idea ran into my head as I looked into my window. The bright light from the sun passing by the curtains and I know that it would be a great sunny day. A smile crept into my lips as I thought of the idea.



" How about we go to the beach?"



" That's perfect!" Alisha and Michelle said.



" Well then, go pack your thing and we'll meet downstairs around 11"



" Okay"



Michelle and Alisha both left my room to start packing their things. I put my towel, sunscreen, and an extra shirt in my bag before changing into my swimsuit. As I was about to take my clothes off, Trevor and Travis came bursting in my room.



" Ever heard of knocking? I was about to change my clothes"



" Well, that's okay. You're like our little sister already" Travis says while slinging his arm onto my shoulders.



" You guys are only two months older than me"



" Two months and thirteen days. The days still count" Trevor reminds me like they would always do whenever we compare our ages. There was a few seconds of silence before I broke it.



" Well, if you excuse me, I have to change"



" Where are you going?"



" The girls and I are going to the beach"



" We're coming!" they both say before they sprinted out of my room. I close the door and made sure to lock it before changing into my swimsuit. It's a black one piece; sleeveless and backless. I put my crop top and my light denim shorts over it then I slip into my flats. I took my bag then went out of my room and into the living room where Michelle and Alisha is sitting by the couch.



" Oh good, you're here"



" Where's Trevor and Travis?"



" They can't come because they are on patrol today"



" Okay, let's go"




We all walked out of the house and into the garage. Deciding to use the SUV, we went in and put our bags at the back. I sat on the driver's seat while Michelle sat at the passenger's seat and Alisha at the back. I started the car and drove out of the garage, into the driveway.





After a few minutes, we could see the sight of the beach ahead of us. I parked the car nearby then all of us went out. The beach is not really that big but it's good enough.



Mostly all we did at the beach is swim, play volleyball, sun bathing, flirt with guys and learned how to surf but Michelle is really bad at it.



When the sun starts to set down, we hopped back to the car, ending our day. I started driving to the familiar roads that leads us to the pack house until I came across a stop light.



After a few seconds, it became green so I started driving back towards the road while keeping my eyes firmly infront of me.



" IVORY, LOOK TO YOUR SIDE!" a voice shouted which I guess was Alisha.



I gave her a questioning look before I looked to my side. My eyes widened in fear as I see a truck rapidly moving to my side. It was coming closer until it was only a few inches away from us. I tried to move the car but the truck was only an inch away from hitting us.




" Shit"

Here is Chapter 7! Thank you all for greatly supporting this story and I promise it will become better and more interesting. I hope you guys like this chapter but I know this chapter is pretty boring.
