Chapter 8




Derek's POV




Me, Colton and the twins were hanging out in the kitchen, talking about Ivory. We are really worried for her. I mean, she can't just leave her friends, family and her pack after being kidnapped by a bunch of rogues. They must be worried about her, thinking she must have been hurt or dead. We all know her mate rejected her and her pack treats her different because she can't shift at that time but people have to learn how to forgive and forget.




" So what are we going to do to her?" the twins asks. Sometimes it scares me how they talk about the same idea at the same time.




" Maybe we should bring her to her old pack" Colton answers. We all nod our head at the thought of the idea but the decision is all on Gabe.




" Does anyone know where Michelle went off to?"




" She went to the beach with Ivory and Alisha in the morning so probably they would be here in a few minutes"




I nod my head as the guys went out to the living room to start playing some video games. Walking to the counter, I got myself a glass of water before I followed them out of the kitchen.





We were walking through the hallways when I felt the air in my lungs break. I was having a hard time to breath like I was hit by a bus. A searing pain broke around my body as it collapse at the floor. There are people shouting all around me but all I hear was a blur. My mind hurts like hell as I close my eyes to ease the pain.




After a few minutes, the pain was all gone like it never happened in the first place. I open my eyes to see all the guys and Gabe standing in front of me. Colton lends me a hand for me to stand up from the floor.




" Dude, what happened?" Colton asks




" I think it's the mate bond. Something happened to Michelle and I could feel all her pain" me and my wolf started to panic on what might've happened to our mate and by how much the pain I felt, it was something really bad.




" Well, do you know where she is?"




" I can sense her just near the corner of the street" I ran towards the door with the guys following behind me. Passing by a few blocks, we started to near the corner of the street where a huge of people are surrounding something. I sniff the air and could smell my mate's scent at the same place where the mob of people is surrounding. We pushed pass the people to see a car upside down with a huge truck parked a few meters away from it. I recognize the car being owned by our pack.




We ran to the car to see Ivory, Alisha and Michelle inside, bleeding. I came to Michelle's side to open the door but it was stuck. My wolf was angry as my eyes turned pitch black. Using my wolf strength, I pulled the car door, breaking it. I got Michelle out and carried her bridal style.




Standing up, I see that Gabe got Ivory and Colton got Alisha. I worried me that Ivory's head was bleeding non-stop. Just in time, the ambulance came and brought us to the hospital.

We have been waiting two hours for the doctor to come out of the emergency room. And finally he did after a few minutes.




" What happened to them?" I ask. The doctor checked his clipboard before looking back at me.




" Michelle and Alisha seems fine just a few broken bones and some wounds from the shattered glass. Ivory, however......" he says as we all leaned in to hear him much better.




" Her head is damaged from the impact of hitting the door since the truck came to her side. Some broken bones and wounds to add to it. Good thing she's still alive from the amount of blood she lost"




" So is she okay?" Gabe asks




" Actually, she is in a coma right now"




" For how long?"




" My prediction is probably a few months" we all stay quiet upon hearing the news about Ivory.




" Can we see them?" Travis asks.




" Of course, they are in that room" the doctor says, pointing to a room beofre walking away. We all went in the room to see them all in the bed with tubes stuck to them.




Ivory looks the worst among the three of them. Her skin looks pale with lots of tube stuck into them. She looks as fragile as a flower to see her in a coma for probably months.




We just have to hope that she will wake up soon.

Sorry for not updating for so long. I was just in a holiday vacation and it sucks that there is no free wifi at the hotels. But here is Chapter 8 and I hoped you guys enjoyed it!




So I see that my grammar is the big problem in the story so I will try my best to fix it and maybe ask for help from someone but no worries because I will do my best.
