I legit couldn't leave Shawn alone for a second because I was so afraid that he might die on me again. I told him that I would stay by his side and I intend to keep that promise.
He was in the ICU for a week and then he was transferred to my room at my request. His mom, his dad, and his sister. I could barely look them in the eye while I told them, that Shawn was in a car accident. And that he died two times and came back. I had to tell them that their loved one is in critical condition and is fighting to live.
Everyday he got better. I mean how could he get worse?
Dr. Max came into the room, and immediately I could tell by facial expression, that it was bad news.
"Stephanie, Shawn has suffered some trauma to his brain, so when he wakes up he might not be able to remember you at all." He said.
I nodded and looked over at Shawn with tears in my eyes. The doctor left our room. I sat next to Shawn . He started to wake up.
"Shawn. " I said.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"It's me Stephanie. " I said.
"Get away from me. I don't know you. Leave me alone!!!!!
