A bit of a surprise

Tord's P.O.V.

The American girl leaned up close in my face and I could feel myself flushing hard. Once she got up I rubbed my face when she wasn't looking to make it go away. Then I realized that she didn't check out and was just walking away. But before I could say anything she turned back towards me and wink. "Names y/n, by the way."

"T-Tord....." I stammer and then remember "B-but wait! You have to check that out!" I shout to her.

"Already did..." She said as she walked out the door.

I look at the computer to see that she had plugged in her email and phone number as well as checked out the book. I look at it and decided to write it down, just in case I needed it.

Your P.O.V.

as I walked out of the bookstore I get a text from my mom.   [I need you to come back now, your father wants to get this done before dinner.] I sigh and text her back. {OK, mom. I'll be there in 5} I put my phone away with the book I just got and start heading back home.

As I get home, I look at the car and moving van. They're almost empty. It won't be too much work. I think to myself as I walk inside to see that the living room was almost done. I walk upstairs to see that my bed was also in place so I started to put sheets on and place my stuff on it.

After setting up my room, I go downstairs to see if there was anything else I could do. My mom was on the phone, talking to her boss, and my dad was working with the moving guys to get my great grandfathers secretary desk in.

"Hey sweet pea!" My dad calls over. "If you're done with your room, can you go and dust off the bathroom and set it up?"

"Sure dad." I smile at him, finding the box with the cleaning supplies.

after dinner ((pizza from the papa johns I found)) and watching some Professor Why, we all headed upstairs and went to bed. I text my old friends from America to catch them up then when to bed.

I woke up the next morning to see my new room. "Right...." I say as I rub my eyes. I go downstairs to see my dad drinking coffee and my mom setting breakfast down. "Mornin' mom." I say as I give her a kiss on the cheek.
"good morning y/n, how did you sleep?"

"Like a rock." I said, chuckling as I sat down to eat the pancakes she made to look like London landmarks. I smiled at it and started to eat.

"So y/n, today we're going to your new school to pick up your school  schedule soon, ok?"

I nodded at her and finished eating, taking my dishes to the sink "Thanks mom."

I went upstairs to get ready and put on my f/c hoodie and some jeans. I took my phone off the charger and shoved it in with the book. I headed downstairs and sat on the couch, turning on the TV to an ASDF land commercial.

At 2:30 pm my mom finally took me to get my school schedule. As we walked in, I could see down the hall a familiar red hoody and spiked hair. I held back a gasp, and shoved any thoughts aside for later as I stepped into the guidance office to get my schedule.

The counselor told me the rules and went through the whole  routine. I left after about half an hour and saw that Tord had left. I guess he goes here too. I think to myself as I exit the school doors.
