6: Random Do's and Don't's

DO:

*Magsulat ng may saysay. There are three things you must do before writing;

1. Observe. Read some books not only from wattpad but sa mga printed books or dictionaries

2. Decide whether you want it or you don't want to do it. Minsan kasi pag nasa chapter 3 na, napapagod na sa pag-update.

3. Huwag mag-assume na magiging sikat agad. Who doesn't want their book to be popular dibah? Pero hindi naman instant lahat eh.

* Relax. Huwag maging pressured by the comments or mga salaysay na nagsasabing boring ang story mo.

* Imagination doesn't hurt. Try to imagine. Yung magagandang topics kumbaga. Ipaghalo-halo mo ang mga nabasa mong magagandang stories.

*Pag-isipan ng mabuti ang main characters' names. It adds liveliness to the story.

* Don't force to write if you don't want to.

* Stay positive. Huwag mawalan ng pag-asa. Have hope. May babasa rin sa story/stories mo. Hindi man ngayon o bukas but someday, dadami din yan.

* Add multimedia o kundi add some images.

* Write your prologue like ikaw si Shakespear o ikaw si J.K. Rowling :D Totoo, mag-isip ng magandang prologue kasi enticing sa readers ang description and ang first chapter/prologue

*Write formally. Iba sa mga readers jan eh new tapos baka ma-inspire mo pa sila by your words.

*Give some lines na nakakabuwis buhay. Like "Ella, I found someone knew. I loved her since and I will love her more. She gives me electricity charges whenever I touch her. And I want to marry her." Ella: "Who--Whose this girl?" Boy: *lumuhod sa harapan niya* "It is you. It's you, Ella Obama. Will you marry me?" Mga ganun kumbaga.

DON’T:

* Copy everything on your favorite book. Wag namang ganyan. Pinaghihirapan ang story kaya wag namang magnakaw.

* Feel like you’re already popular. Yung mga author nga na milyung-milyun na ang reads nila eh humble pa rin sila. Pag nag reach na ng 1,000 ang reads mo, be thankful. Huwag maging O.A na i-dedelete mo kaagad ang story mo kasi walang bumabasa for two days.

* Let yourself ran out of ideas.

* Feel like you’re alone. Mag-chat with other users. Non-readers man sila, magiging readers mo rin sila pag naging friends na kayo.

* NEVER be someone who criticizes other people's work/s. Ang sakit kayang masabihan ng ganyan.

* Huwag ma-stress. Writing is a passion. Inday/Indoy, kumain ng ice cream. Mag lakad sa park. Pumunta sa mga club o night parties.

*Magsulat na parang nag-tetext. Like replacing "o" into 0/zero. then may iba naman dyan na maraming dots ang nilalagay. Iwasan natin 'yan. Five dots below are okay (i think).

*Don't be a b*tch. Alam niyo naman siguro kung ano ang ibig sabihin nun. Huwag mang-agaw ng ideas. Or mga pictures ng iba.

*Don't be too early. Huwag magmadali. Publish your story when everything is good and polished.
