Daisy awoke to find she was being lifted. She was dangling from the weird boy's hand. Lyon looked scrawny, but he was actually strong. She should have know from the way he hit her in the head. She glared at him. Her head hurt and she was no longer in a happy mood. "I have legs you idiot!"
He held her up to his face. "Guess what! I have eyes." She growled and then proceeded to used her legs. He dropped her onto the golden grass. Daisy stood up to find Lyon rolling on the ground in pain. "Oh. So you are a guy."
"No really?!" He screeched sarcastically.
"Hue! Hue!" Daisy laughed. "I couldn't tell from your styled hair, makeup and fancy clothing."
He blushed. "It's not makeup! It's BATTLE PAINT!"She gave him a look and then looked up in front of her with amazement.
A large honey colored beehive hung from a sturdy tree similar to the one they had seen before. Hundreds of bumblions flew in and out of it carrying nectar and large flowers. They completely ignored her as if she did not exist.
Daisy looked back at Lyon who stood up weakly. He was confused as to why she was now looking at his feet. She reached down and picked up a bag. Once he realized what was it the bag, he tried to get it back. "Hey give that back! That's not yours!"
She ignored his poor attempts to get the bag and reached her hand in. Pulling out a stone, she scrutinized every inch of its light blue surface. Suddenly it started to glow.
Lyon covered his eyes from the blinding light that engulfed Daisy.
The sky grew dark with a thick blanket of clouds. The wind swirled around the hive. Scared bees flew to their home only for it to fall and shatter in half. They got stuck in the whirlwind and were flung every which way. The littlest bumblion clung onto Lyon, who did the same to the massive tree.
The light that once surrounded Daisy had vanished leaving the valley shrouded in the shadows of the clouds. She turned to them, but she was different. That was not Daisy.
"I believe that that stone did in fact belonged to me." She smiled. Her smile was sinister. The wind died down as she walked up to the pair.
Daisy's skin was now light blue, almost white. Her hair and her clothes changed to become a darker blue. Her shirt bore a swirly symbol. Her cheeks were bright red, but her eyes. They were dull and emotionless. Completely blank. White.
Her void eyes stared down at Lyons fearfulled ones. Before she could speak, the little bumblion interjected.
"You destroyed our home and hurt my family!" Its eyes watered. "You're a MONSTER!"
Taken aback, Daisy stopped and looked at her mess. Sad and disoriented bumblion flew around what was left of the hive. They buzzed glumly. She walked up to the smashed pieces and lifted up her arms. A strong wind picked the pieces up and put them together. The bumblions attached it back to the tree and buzzed with excitement.
Daisy turned and started back in the direction of her friends. The little bumblion asked her. "Where are you going?" It hovered along with her. Daisy pointed at the mountain. It buzzed. "Can we go with you?"
She shrugged. "Why not?"
The cloud of bees followed close behind her. Daisy looked down at the stone. Now that it's power had gone to her, she no longer needed it. She threw it down. The grey pieces of once beautiful rock shattered all over the ground.
Lyon struggled to pick himself up. His dream had been shattered along with the stone. It was true that he wanted to fly and control one of the stones, but his heart only wanted friends. He turned and watched as q stranger stole the power and the only creatures that ever cared for him.
In the air Daisy guided the bees to the mountain. Once again the sun began to set. The already gloomy sky grew darker and change from grey to a light pink hue. The moon struggled behind the clouds to provide a light source.
"So what are you going to to?" The little bumblion asked and it nuzzled into Daisy's hair.
