Chapter 13

I wake up and see a cloudy sky. It is gonna be a normal day in Forks and La Push. I then feel the lump in my bed. I turn and see Paul. I shake my head and I get out of bed. I put on some skinny jeans and a pink cropped lace long sleeve shirt. I put my brown knitwear cardigan before going to the bathroom. I straighten my hair and then go to the living room.

Paul is dressed nicely. He is the popular guy in La Push high. I kiss his cheek.

"Make you shower when you get home and wash that vampire smell off." Paul says with a laugh.

"And you wash the female off." I pull away and walk out.

I see Bella Alice's car.

"I am letting her get you now." Dad says.

I nod and I get in Alice's car.

"You look pretty." Alice smiles.

"Thank you." I grin. "You look pretty, too."

"Thanks Raven." Alice smiles. If she were human, she'd be blushing.

I see Bella clung to Edward as we pull up next to Emmett's humongous Jeep Wrangler.

"Hey Edwin." I chirp, skipping over to the happy couple.

"Shut it Raven." Edward laughs.

"You know you love it." I joke.

Edward shakes his head and chuckles at me. I smell something off.

"Looks like I'm skipping. I'll see y'all tomorrow."

I go into the woods. I take my clothes off and I phase, with my clothes tied around my leg. I take of sprinting towards La Push. I see a flash of red near Charlie and Harry Clearwater in the woods. Oh no. Victoria. She lifts Harry up and she looks him in the eyes, then she drops him. She glares at me before running off. I see Harry clench his chest.

"HARRY!" I call out after I phase and get dressed.

"Raven." Charlie smiles and his face turns to panic when he sees Harry.

"Call Sam!" Charlie shouts.

I pull my phone out and I call Sam. "Daddy!"

"Raven?" dad asks worriedly.

"Charlie and Harry were hunting. Harry is having a heart attack. We are in the woods." I panic.

"I'll get Carlisle and we will be right there."

"He is going to get Carlisle and yet are coming." I say.

Charlie nods and he holds Harry's head up in a cradling position.

"I'll see you soon."

I disappear into the woods again. I phase with my clothes tied to my leg. I run around the perimeter and check for Victoria. I see Jared.

The red head got Harry Clearwater. He is having a heart attack. Dad and Doctor Cullen are going to him. -Raven

Okay. I'll go let Seth and Leah know. -Jared

Then he is gone. I slow down as I see Victoria at a cliff, walking out of the water near my wolf. I let out a loud growl and I get into an attacking position.

Victoria slaps me and my wolf goes flying across the woods. I slam into a tree and my wolf howls out in pain. Something is broke.

Pauls wolf comes out of nowhere and he chases Victoria off. I am phased and naked on the wooded floor. Paul phases and gets dressed before running over to me. He puts my clothes on me and lifts me up.

Paul lays me on the couch when he gets to my house. Dad looks angry that Victoria has gotten to me.

"I'll call Carlisle. Again." Dad grumbles and strides into the kitchen. 

Paul is holding me while u cry in pain when Carlisle comes in, Alice with him.

"I smelled her at Forks school. I went after her." I say weakly.

"Shh.... You have broken ribs." Carlisle says easily while rubbing my rib age.

"Why'd you go after her?" Dad asks in shock.

"I wanted to stop her." I whisper.

"You're not strong enough yet... You'll be healed after tomorrow. So, you'll be out of school."

"I can't miss. I'll just walk slow." I plead.

"She will be fine. Alice has had her classes changed." Carlisle says. "Alice will keep an eye on her."

"Fine." Dad grumbles and he strides away and up to his room.

"Go get some sleep." Carlisle says before leaving with Alice.

Paul picks me up bridal style and carries me to my room. "I am so damn glad I was there before she could do worse damage."

"I am too. I thought I would be able to take her." I gripe.

"You haven't been able to train. You aren't strong enough to fight yet. That's why you'll be on the mountain Saturday." Paul says.

I nod and I lay my head on my pillow. Paul. Crawls in bed with me and he undresses me then he puts some pajamas on my naked body. "Thanks." I whisper.

"Anything my love. Anything." Paul says with a sigh.

He, out of nowhere, carries me to the bathroom and sets bath water. "You smell like vampire."

"You smell like females." I scowl.

"They won't leave me alone!" Paul complains and he strips my clothes off me like that day at the beach.

Paul lifts me off the counter and sets me in the hot water. I moan in relief as my tense, sore muscles relax as the water touches my skin.

"Feels good?" Paul asks with a chuckle.

"Yes it does." I reply and I lay my head back into Paul's hands while he massages some shampoo onto my scalp. He rinsed it and repeats with the conditioner.

"You're clean." Paul says and he helps me out of the tub. He dresses me in different pair of pajamas and he helps me to my room.

"Thanks Paul." I say as he lifts me into my bed and he crawls in beside me.

"You're my lifeline. Anything for you." Paul whispers and kisses my head.

I lay my head on Paul's chest and I am instantly comfy. I easily drift off to sleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
