Chapter 22

Price's Pov

I decided that I was going to give her some privacy so I went into her living area waiting for her to finish when I heard a few knocks on the door. The person was very stubborn and so i decided i was going to see who it was.

"Tay..."

He quickly masked the surprised look on his face when he realized I wasn't Taylor. I gave him a deadpan look.

"Where's "

I quickly interrupted him. "It's none of your business where she is"

"Ah I see you're still furious about what happened"

"I'm more than furious.....stay away from her or I'll get rid of you for good"

He chuckled and I instantly got more infuriated at him, my hands are itching to bash his head in.

"You can't stop me besides Taylor loves me."

"Why don't you go back to the mental institution? She never loved you, you created that in your head"

"I'm cured"

"I doubt that.....if you're really cured then why you're hurting yourself"

I said gesturing to his arm which has been bleeding because he was digging into his skin like he wanted to tear off his arm. i guess we both have the same reaction to one another.PURE HATE.

"That's nothing" he said nervously and I knew I got him right where I want him.

"I should make them send you back to where you belong"

"You won't do that....what about Taylor? "

"Don't test me."

"I want to see her""

"No. " i stepped closer to him, "Leave now"

He smirked. "You won't always be there to protect her. You weren't there last time. I will be back to see her especially when i know you aren't here....."

He walked away before I got the chance to hit him. I cursed under my breath because I knew he was right and I have to find a way to keep him away from her even if it's the last thing I do.

Taylor's Pov

I think I took more than the time price told me to get ready but it's for the better because I don't know how he expects a girl to get ready in less than half an hour. I don't know why I'm following his orders anyways.

Well at least I won't be home alone thinking about my painful past. When I got to the living area I saw price standing there with his muscles all tense and his hands were made into fists and I could feel his anger radiating off of him. He turned around and stared at me for a while before he bolted out the door without saying a word and I don't know what got over me but I followed him.

I was practically running behind him trying to catch up to his long strides. We got into his car and he still didn't say a word for the whole ride. Like what the hell pissed him off? I should be the one pissed he took away my sleep!!! When we got inside the building Blondie was at her desk twirling her hair and doing the flirtiest smile I ever seen.

"Good morning Mr Price!"

I rolled my eyes so hard I thought that my eyeballs would see my brain for good. Price didn't even acknowledge her and then I smirked in her direction and her face dropped in disappointment.

"Ms James are you coming or not?"

Price said annoyed. All of a sudden he's talking. I hurriedly got into the elevator. When we reached our destination he got to his desk and then I saw something surprising. When the hell did two desks get up here? He saw my surprised look.

"I was getting tired of you at my space so I got you your own personal area"

I narrowed my eyes at him and shook my head disapprovingly. "What makes you so sure I would be back? What if I didn't come back then you would have gotten it for nothing"

"They always come back Ms James, nobody can resist my charms"

Oh.my.goodness he has a bigger ego than his head. I think I liked it better when he was angry or whatever it was. Well his mood changes quickly.

I scoffed in disgust then I sat down in my area. Price left the room muttering something about meeting another stockholder privately. I decided that I was going to call Kira. I tried several times and all I got was voicemail. Then I got a magnificent idea.

Outgoing call to ben 10

B: hello

T: hi Ben could you tell Kira I want to talk to her

B: uh.....ummm...sure

T: thanks

B: she doesn't want to talk to you

T: could you ask her why?

B: um she doesn't want to say

T: could I at least talk to Tyrell?

B: Tyrell's not here. he's at a play date.

T: oh

B: I'm sorry Taylor

T: but they're both ok right?

B: yes they are......Tyrell's never been so energized and Kira finally starts to look relaxed

T: that's good to hear........um Ben

B: yeah

T: please take care of them....I know I haven't been the nicest person to you but I really need you to do this for me. I know that you're the best thing that happened to them and I'm sorry if I was ever out of line with you.

B: its ok, you're just looking out for them.

T: ok...bye

B: bye

I sighed. I was shaking trying not to cry when Price walked in.

"What's wrong Ms. James?"

"It's nothing, I'm just really tired that's all"

"Well I have some news."

"Good or bad?"

He smirked. "Depends on your perspective Ms.James"

"Just tell me already"

"The employees of Price Corporation are invited to a social gathering hosted by one of our stakeholders in Miami"

Wow! Always wanted to go to Miami ever since I was little but I never got the chance to especially since I don't have the money to go. Speaking of which where would I get the money to go this social gathering.

"What kind of social gathering?"

"They're having a grand opening ceremony and they would like for us to be there"

"So in other word they are using us for publicity for their new hotels"

"Well you could say that."

"I'm not going"

Publicity is the last thing I need. And I don't want to be in the same room as Mr. Moretti ever again especially since he degrades women so much.

"Yes you are....I'm making sure of it ms.James"

"What if i don't want to Mr.Price?"

"No more questions Ms.James , we're leaving Monday"

That's two days from now. I think I should probably get packed. God knows I need a relaxing trip.
