Enemies (the sequel to best of both worlds)

Chapter 1

"DEE! TIMMY!" Y/N's mother ran up to the kids, I immediately wrapped my arms around them and Y/N stood in front of them. "You're not getting any where near these kids, herma" Y/N scolded her and Dee began to cry "mummy! Who is that lady?" I kissed Dee on the fore head and stroked her hair "shh Dee, don't cry darling".

"Y/N! I am their grandmother for goodness sake! You can't keep me away from them!" Herma turned around and glared at me "you've poisoned my baby girls mind, haven't you?? She thinks I'm evil because of you!" I ignored her and tended to the kids, making sure they don't get too upset.

Your POV-

"It's his fault I think your evil, is it? Who was the one who beat me as a child and teenager? Who was the one who said I would never do anything in life? That was you, not him" if Dee and Timmy weren't here I'd slap her, she ruined my childhood and I'm not letting her ruin theirs.

"Come on kids, we're going to have to visit uncle Phil and PJ tomorrow" Dee and Timmy burst into tears "why mummy? Is it because of that lady? Why is she being so mean?" I held dees hand and Dan held Timmy's. "Stay away from us, Herma!" Dee and Timmy started to run away so we pulled them back "please don't run kids".

We all walked away at a reasonable pace, looking back every so often to make sure herma wouldn't follow us. "What made her decide to suddenly pop up like that?" Dan asked "I don't know, I never understood my mother".

Herma's POV-

I was crouched behind a car watching them all walk past, if I find where they live I can maybe visit the kids when they go to the park, if kids still go to the park these days that is. "Hey you! What are you doing there?" I looked behind me and saw a woman running over to me, she had a short brown bob and bright green eyes.

"Oh I'm sorry if I look suspicious" I stood up and dusted myself off "you see, my daughter recently got married and had kids! But for some reason she won't let me see them" the lady looked at me sympathetically "oh no! That's horrible".

"I know" I looked at the ground and pretended to wipe a tear away from my eye "don't cry deary, what's your daughters name?" I sniffed my nose and coughed "her names Y/N" she gasped and put her hands over her mouth "Y/N's a good friend of mine! I helped plan out her wedding!" She took my hand and held it tightly "I'll talk to her about it but for now you should go home, you don't want to catch a cold".

Herma's POV-

"Goodbye then!" I waved her goodbye and walked down the street to my car "goodbye Y/N's mother!" I hopped in car, shut the car door and rolled down the window "please, call me herma!" I rolled the window back up and started up the car, thanks to that lady I will finally see my grand kids again.
