So before I start explaining all the complicated stuff, you'll need to know a few things first.
Starting with the multiverse theory.
The multiverse theory is a theory (duh) that suggests there is an infinite amount of universes, each one with tiny or big things changed in them. For example: there could be a universe where Hitler won ww2, there could be a universe where all humans are now mushrooms- there could be a universe where my name is actually Steve!
Magic exists in this world (which applies to every universe in this multiverse,) this is why a lot of weird stuff happens like how you can summon guns out of a chalk drawing and stuff like that.
This is set in WW1 and WW2 (most of the time- I'll tell you when it isn't)
There will be some things that make absolutely zero sense- this is mainly because the game developers didn't expect to create such a large story so there are a few plot holes here and there.
