As I stood grasping my aching chest, my reflection appeared once more.  "Hello!" She said happily," I'm Sky." This reflection was different than Shadow. She seemed caring.
Sky's happy smile dissipated when she noticed my teary eyes. " A-Are you ok?"  She asked worried.  I shook my head and released a cry of sadness. "Why don't you tell me what's wrong. I'm very good at helping!"
The white walls turned a light pink as I rubbed my blurry eyes with scratched wrists. " I'm just having problems with a friend...," I sniffled, "it's a long story. I'm sure you don't want to hear it."
"No, sweetheart!" She gasped," I am here to help." I was taken back by her eagerness to help; fearing that it was a trap of some sort. She assured me several times that it wasn't and once I felt safe, I told her everything.
Sky watched me with sorrowful eyes as I told her my story. Like she wanted,I told her everything. The good parts, the bad parts, even the parts that I kept secret. By the time I was done telling my story, the pink walls were filled with good memories. Memories of smiles and giggles.
I glared at the memories with a pain filled look. Hunger gnawed at my desolate soul. I craved for those feelings again;the happiness I felt with him. I longed for so many things that I seemingly pissed away. If I could...I would do it all over again.  Fix the anxious mistakes I made in the relationship I always wanted. Sighing, I turned my attention back to Sky. "Just give him time, sweetheart," She said softly," You mean more to him than you think."
" But I'm so messed up...What if we never become friends again?"
Sky chuckled at my naïve question. " You just need to relax and smile. Show him that you can be happy! Show him that you can be better!" I nodded slowly, my attention veering off slightly and returning to the memories of his happy smile. "Rushing the healing process of the heart can damage it even more. You both seem to have been though a lot so healing will most definitely be slow but Time and patience is your friend.  I believe that you can do it and get him back. "
And with that simple speech of encouragement, Sky was gone, leaving me alone with a reflectionless mirror.
