*Charles POV*
“Char…What, what was that?” Alli whispered running up to me and clinging onto my arm.
Suddenly I heard a shot; it sounded like a huge explosion and rocketed through the whole building. I instantly threw myself over Alli pulling her closer and we curled up in the corner.
We stayed there for a few seconds while we were surrounded by screams cries and shouts. I was covering Alli’s head and through my breathing could hear her whimpering.
I scanned the room and the doctor was stood still . Like a statue he just stood there clinging onto the beaker staring at the door way.
I heard footsteps coming closer and closer. Then my heart shattered I heard a gun reloading I screamed calling to the doctor who just stared directly into the man in black’s eyes.
“Char what’s happening” Alli demanded pulling away from my grip.
I cried as she ran to the doctor oblivious to the shooter aiming into her back.
I jumped up pushing her out the way as I heard the gun go off.
We screamed and lay on the cold floor staring into each other’s eyes trying to make out if we had been shot.
We heard a moan and a smashing noise as the doctor twisted over clutching his bleeding chest.
Alli cried and began to run over to him but stopped dead in her tracks as she saw the beaker had smashed over the floor.
She screamed and fell to the floor.
I ran over trying to pull her from the glass, I turned her away so she didn’t see the bleeding man slowly loosing blood and loosing life.
I cradled her as she cried and we waited for help.
