The bells rung loud as the door opened and two gentleman walked in. One had to be over 6 foot as he was towering above everyone else in the restaurant. He had long brown hair and his hazel eyes shown quiet brightly as he looked around my brightly painted walls, seeing all the decorations. I couldn't get a good look at the other one. As I handed the couple their pie, I smiled brightly as the two men stepped up to the counter.
"Sam!" I cheered and he smiled wide at me.
"Hey, ____!" He exclaimed back and the guy next to him looked genuinely confused. I laughed and kept my attention on Sam.
"So what'll it be today? Deep fried, maybe a classic?" I questioned him and he shrugged and looked inside the window into the kitchen.
"You know best." He stated and I smiled and snapped my fingers and walked away from the window, gathering his pie.
"You know best?? How many times have you been here?" A deep voice rumbled out. I heard Sam laugh in response.
"Like 3 times a week but it's not important. She has the best pie in town." He exclaimed and the other man scoffed.
"C'mon Dean, give it a chance." He said in a pleading voice and a sigh was the answer. Hearing all of this go on, I knew the perfect pie for him. Grinning, I pulled a fresh one out of the oven and put the whole pie in a to go box. As I walked to get Sam's, I heard them talking again.
"At least she's hot." The man Dean grumbled and Sam laughed.
"And she can cook. Pie." Sam stated and he got a chuckle in response.
"We'll see just how 'good' her pie is." Dean stated and I walked back up to the counter and slid the boxes over.
"Alright Sam, deep fried apple pie with two scoops of vanilla ice cream aannndd chocolate syrup. Dean, was it?, an everything pie." Sam gasped and gave me a bewildered look.
"I said to surprise him not to make him fall in love with you!" Sam said jokingly and I blushed and let out a laugh.
Dean have brown hair peaked at the top. His green eyes were dull but full of life at the same time. His freckles were adorable and his stubble was cute as well but I like shaven faces more. I smiled brightly at him and start to explain.
"It goes cherry, strawberry, peach, then apple. All in one pie." I stated and his jaw dropped. "Also, extra whipped cream, figured you'd like some." I smiled softly and he grinned big, grabbing the pie with a 'thanks' and sat down at the nearest table. Sam laughed as he watched with me, shaking his head as he took big bites at a time.
"So how's it been?" Sam turned to me nonchalantly and I shrugged and smiled at him.
"Same old same old! Everyone still loves pie!" I exclaimed and he gave me a half grin.
"Don't you get lonely here by yourself though? I mean you're doing something you love but wouldn't it be easier to have a partner?" He questioned and a pursed my lips and gave it a thought.
"Well it could be better with another person but I don't know who can make pie." I stated with a giggle and he laughed in response. He shrugged and nodded his head, agreeing.
"I don't know how to bake, but you can teach me." He stated and my face turned into awe,
"You want to work here?" I questioned and he smiled. I could see Dean stare at us with curiosity as he chewed.
"With you, yes." He said and I squealed and tugged him to give him a hug over the counter.
"Okay okay okay, get in here. OH! Put this on!" I instructed as I held out an apron when he walked through the kitchen door. He gave me a bored look but put it on anyways. (A/N: could you see Sam in a kitchen with an apron? AWE) Dean spit out a laugh at the kitchen window and Sam scoffed and waved him off. I led him to the dough, putting my hands on his to show him how to knead it. His hands automatically stopped when I felt a blush rushing up my cheeks. I slowly looked up to find him already staring at me, his head close to mine. I sucked in a breath and blinked at him as he leaned in. His soft lips getting closer to mine. Anticipating the kiss, I bit my lip and smiled at him. I felt his breath on my face, and suddenly, "Yeah Sammy, get it!" Dean shouted and I stood still, wide eyed, forgetting he was there. Sam cursed and turned around to give him a look that made Deans face brighten up more as he turned to leave, throwing a wink over his shoulder as the door closed behind him. Sam let out a breath of air and looked at me with a embarrassed smile.
"Sorry about that.." He mumbled off and I grinned at him, knocking his arm with my shoulder and continued to kneed the dough softly on the wooden table top. He did the same, making sure his body was always touching mine in a way. An elbow bump, our shoulders rubbing, or his foot was close to mine.
"Alright, I give. It is better working with someone." I let out and he gave me an 'I told you so' look as we continued to kneed out balls of dough on the floured counter top.
