MaJo's POV:
"Carmennn." I shouted stretching out the 'n' in her name to try and get her attention faster. "Carmennnnnn." I said again streatching the 'n' longer then the first time, as I got an aggravated stretched out reply,"WHHHHHAAAAATTTTT!?" I laughed,"Do you have a pencil?" I asked looking in her aggravated angry eyes. She turned back around digging in her bag and pulled out a led pencil and threw it at me causing me to drop it,"HEY!" I screeched catching the attention of the teacher who was tired of our rudeness. Anger filled his voice as he looked at us,"Excuse me miss Mizuki and miss Carmen..." he paused and turned back around, then continued with a softer tone," I will see you after school in detention." He continued to write down stuff on the bored as snickers and whispers emerged from other students. Anger bubbled up in me as I put my hand in a fist, Carmen looked at me and swatted my shoulder. I'd almost forgotten what me and Carmen were capable of and getting angry just made it worse. Sighing I calmed down and continued doing my work. After all really didn't feel like getting in trouble with our parents later, it was exhausting to go through their lectures of being careful.
Carmen's POV:
I knew Majo was mad, she rarely got mad when someone said something, but I guess teachers just had that affect on her. Ever since we found out about our 'abilities' life hasn't been that easy. We attend a special school during breaks and Fridays after school for the weekends, sometimes we even miss school for special exams and stuff. Me and Majo found out about our abilities around last year when we had barely turned sixteen, which out parents then explained that we were some of the very few special kids in which we were considered witches. Of course you know every normal teenagers response is,"Shit you're insane" but of course our parents had to prove it and made Majo angry and me cry, which eventually caused our abilities to go out of wack. Majo got mad and caused the electronics in the kitchen go insane and fucked up our phones and caused me to stir up a full blown storm with clouds, thunder, and lighting, which may I say was in the house, the fucking house. Which mixed with Majo's electronic mishap almost killed our cat, which we obviously got rid of later.
Majo's POV:
The bell rang which obviously cut Carmen's deep thoughts off. I walked over to Carmen as she packed up her stuff and threw her bag on her shoulder,"hmm?" She simply replied, yet again in deep thought. I knew school was difficult for her since she could tell people looked at her odd, she had red eyes that glittered and got questions like "are your eyes naturally red or are those contacts?" or the most common question, "are you a vampire?" I knew she hated those questions and I knew she wasn't fond of others or their comments. She knew she had to deal with it and that there wasn't any getting away from it. I felt bad that she went through comments all day, but then it didn't matter she had me and we were always gonna be by each others side, she was like a sister to me and I was glad that we had stayed friends for so long and I needed her almost as much as she needed me.
Carmen's POV:
Today was gonna be a very long day not only did I end up in detention that meant I was gonna have to lie to my parents about how we were doing extra credit, although she knew very well my grades were fine although I didn't need improvement. Ignoring any further thoughts on figuring out how to stay after school I looked at Majo,"I'll just see if I can stay with you this week and weekend and say its a project for ya know.. Magic school." Majo nodded and smiled,"alright come on its lunch and I'm hungry." I looked at her and raised an eyebrow,"well that's new. Thought you'd wanna just zap something up." She laughed and playfully punched my arm. As we walked to lunch we noticed two twins pass by, both had red hair and similar outfits, and slightly different hair cuts. I could tell the girl in the semi faded clothes was more outgoing then her sister which seamed more frail. As Majo had googly eyes towards the frailish looking twin I noticed the other sister glance at me. Silently as we continued to walk away the frail sister winked at Majo which caused her cheeks to softly redden. Giggling the girl caught up to her sister hastily running, although she had basically already entered the lunchroom. Majo looked like she was going to explode,"Majo.. Dear are you alright?" I mocked in an odd accent, she blushed more and slapped my arm,"Come on already." She said dragging me away into the direction the twins had walked in, staring at the girl I could see Majo almost drooling. I whispered in her ear,"Why don't you just talk to her because staring at her isn't gonna get you anywhere." Her face dropped,"I.." She paused not knowing how to reply. I sighed knowing she wasn't gonna say anything, so I looked forward studying what their interests might be. I looked at the less fragile twin and noticed something swim in her eyes, as she smiled and laughed. I could see something that resembled maybe sadness or regret, but I couldn't place it. I looked over at Majo to see if she noticed the strange look in the girls eyes, but she was lost in daydreams. Instead I tapped the girls shoulder, as she turned I noticed her sister turn as well. Ignoring the heat rushing to my face I waved,"I'm Carmen."
