Shawn phone rang and I answered.
" I'm calling about the results of a paternity test. The results are back and you can come collect them at the center before we close at six"
"Or okay!"
"Zade!!!!"
I stepped out the bedroom door and yelled, my voice echoing through the house.
"Why do you always have to be this loud?"
I chuckled.
"The results to the test are ready they called and said you can come pick them up before six"
He just shook his head okay.
Then Gabby started to cry. Zade and I raced to get her. I don't no why tho. She liked me more. She's my baby. He can't have her. He tripped me making me stumble and almost fall and he grabbed Gabby while laughing. I punched him in his arm and left the room telling him to change her diaper.
When I got back to the room I saw my phone was ringing. It was my mom.
After our last conversation she's been blowing up my phone but I ignored her calls.
I decided to answer her tho.
"Hey mom"
"Hey baby, I've been trying to reach... Look I'm sorry bout how I acted I just love you and want you to make the best decisions but I know you're smart and once you're happy I guess I should happy for you too"
"Mom I glad to hear you say that, I knew you would come around."
"So tell me about him"
For the next five minutes I talked to my mom about Zade. I was surprised I knew all the stuff I knew already. I like him a lot more than I'm willing to say and it scares me. It scares me that I'm already so comfortable with him and I have to fight the urge to smile when I see him.
"Awwz I'd love to meet him someday"
"OK"
Then I got an idea
"Mom wait! His birthday is coming up in a few days and I was thinking about throwing him a surprise party and you could help me with the planning "
"I'd be elated to"
Then Zade came in with a giggling Gabby.
"Awww is that my grand baby? She sounds adorable"
"She is mom, she is the cutest,mwah sweetest mwah, most adorable mwah child ever" I said in between kissing Gabby.
"Oh my I can't wait to meet her. Don't smother her too much leave some for me"
"I'll send you pics of her mom! I got to go now Zade and I have a couple errands to run for the shop, bye love you!"

We'd just left the center and Zade clasped the envelope in his hand.
"Open it will you"
I could see that he was scared! Hell I was scared.
He opened the envelope and read aloud.
"We are sorry to inform you that you are 99.99% not the father of Gabriella Amelia Perkins."
My heart sank and I knew Zade was heartbroken.
She had him wrapped around her fingers.
He shook his head no!
Then he did what not any man would have done. He vowed to take care of Gabby as his own regardless of the recent outcome of the test. He refused to allow anyone else have er or worse for her to end up in the foster system.
I was gonna raise her as my own.

It was my baby's birthday. His lame ass didn't want to do anything much. I had gotten up early and him breakfast. Gabby and I did a photo shoot a couple days ago for him, we wore his clothes Gabby was drowning in some of his clothes in the photos but she was still adorable. I even took a few sexy shots in one of his shirts.
We made an album and gave the photos to him as one of his presents. Gabby and I even made him a card full of scribbles and we both had on lip colors and pressed our lips against the cards.
He loved the gifts.
We were now heading back home from our lunch date. Wed dropped Gabby off at his moms house as I wanted a bit of time with boo.... Well so I told him.
We walked up to the door and Zade pushed me back.
"I heard someone I'm there" He snatched my keys and opened the door. When he opened the door everyone jumped out and yelled surprise. This nigga got a little too surprised and pulled out a gun.
A gun I didn't no he even carried. But what did I expect?
"Really Zade? Its a surprise party" I said lowering his gun.
" My bad! Y'all can't be doing that to a nigga I thought y'all forgot my B-day though" he said looking around at all his friends his family even my girls were there and of course my mother.
"It was all Princess' idea" his right hand man Sylvester said. He looked over at me and blushed.
"Thanks babe" he said giving me a peck on the lips.
"Now go change I have an outfit layed out for you upstairs"
I went over to check and make sure everything was in place.
Mom and the girls stayed at the guest house the past two days and were secretly helping me put everything together along with Sylvester.
We had barbecuing set up out back by the pool. There were some ppl already in the pool.
There were card tables where several games of poker and other games were being played.
Some of Zade's friends were playing pool and others roulette. There was also a private room with two female strippers (Sylvester's idea). The room was never vacant though.
We had a couple turning the living room into a dance floor.
We had pizzas on the way and the caterer had already dropped off a wide variety of finger foods and loads of meat on the BBQ .
There was even a couple of ladies serving glasses of either wine, champagne, beers and other drinks.
The parry was lit. Just I was done checking to make sure everything was going smoothly I saw my baby walking downstairs looking fine as ever.
He came and stood by me. Smell good as fuck. Damn I could wait to have him all to myself later.
"So are you gonna just stand there? Go , go have fun.... Its your day! " I said almost shoving him away.
He just turned around and mouthed Thank You!
