-Turn it up!- she screamed- It’s my favourite song!
- Alright- I said, while turning the speakers up- Better?
-Yeah!!- she shouted over the deafening music. – When is everyone else coming?
-Dunno, they were supposed to get here like half an hour ago.
As the song faded out, i heard loud banging ont he door, as if someone was trying to push it in. I jumped on my feet and opened it before they caused any damage.
-Glad you already started the party, but why leave us out of it?
-See if you got here on time…
- Nah, that doesn’t happen, you know that- Grace told me, as she led herself in.
Now, this has got to be good. Everyone’s here, just like old times. Julie already drank half a bottle of champange, that should explain her enthuisasm for Taylor Swift previously. Since Grace, Callie and Georgie just got here, they were still exploring their choices.
-What do you wanna drink, Lindsey?
- Just pour me some juice, will you?
- You have got to be kidding me, seriously, it’s YOUR birthday we’re here for.
- Just until we leave the house, I wanna be able to sleep somewhere once the party’s over.
- Get meg a vodka-lemonade Grace, I don’t have to worry about my house.
So they all started drinking vodka…
- Taxi’s here! Hurry up guys!- And I took one last look around. I shouldn’t have. A mascara rolling on the floor of my kitchen, painting black spots, a broken glass near the sink, my purple bra hanging off of a chair –didn’t Callie just borrow that?- heels kicked off all over the living room, a few of my tops on the sofa, bottles of booze here and there, some even spilled ont he carpet. I am so going to regret this by the time I wake up. But for now, I couldn’t care less, I just wanted to get out already, it’s been ages since I’ve gone anywhere with the girls.
